2 600 watt Multi strain grow

lookin nice, minus the hermies.that sucks lol. im running 818's and g13 cheese as well.

the dwarf 818 is really odd. ive run cali connection sour og&818 and never seen anything turn out so runt-y.
bummer on the CC seeds, but since it happened to just the CC mix, you might not want to get any more of them. ive run A LOT of fem seeds, and really only had 2 hermie issues that were my fault over the past 4 yrs.

I run 2 dimmable 1000watters. it goes 600watts, 750watts, 1000watts, "super watt" 1100watts. theyre a complete blessing because the couple times ive had hermies, it was beacuse of light and heat stress in the flowering transition phase...which kinda looks like what you went through...

BUUUUTTT theres a solution made by dutch masters called reverse. in the future, you might find this helpful. i know after seeing so many fire dank seeds herm out im keeping a bottle around.

Thanks bro! I'm loving the way the Cheese is growing. Very healthy and easy to grow strain. Yeah I kinda tripped out on the dwarf myself. Out of the 7 818's I've grown out it was the only one to stay under 3 feet. I'll be running Skywalker OG, Kandy Kush and acouple 818 clones I took off my non hermie girl for my next run. Figure I'll stay clear of CC seeds for a while. I've also grown out a shit load of different fem strains and have had pretty good luck with em. With the exception of a few strain.

I'm running 2 600 watt dimmable Quantum series lamps with a 435 cfm 6" valueline fan and carbon filter to help control heat and odor. As far as light and heat stress I really don't think that was an issue seeing how my temps pretty much stay between 75 and 80 degrees.

I considered picking up some reverse but heard from a few people it was a waste of cash and really didn't work. I'd rather not take the chance to tell you the truth. If it don't work and you allow the hermies to stay in the garden you'll just end up fucked with a shit load of hermies.
 
Here's a few bud shots at 41 days flowering. Just a couple more weeks to go till the finishline!! There definately starting to put on weight now I can't wait for harvest!

Sorry if I missed it but what are the dimensions of your space and did u always run two 600s in there or did u start with just one
 
5x10 is stillretty good is it pretty packed in there or do you have a lot of room since theres only 8 have u thought of doing more of a s.o.g method and do abunch of single colas in there?

Yeah I have plenty of room now but I do think 12 plants was a lil ambitious for the space and overall size of the plants. I've been considering trying a few different methods to maximize yield in the space I've got.
 
Nice nice yea mabey like 9 next time 3 rows of 3 or something, also I really like smart pots I've just started using them, ever think of going Hydro one day?
 
Also do you have any trouble running two 600s like griping the breaker or whatever? I want to run 4 600s and electrical is my biggest concern since I rent
 
I've tried dwc but although the rate of growth was amazing it was more a pain in the ass then anything. With constant ph swings being one of the main problems. I couldn't leave my grow for more than acouple days without something going wrong. That's why I decided to switch back to soil. Was considering smart pots but never really looked into em. Is there really a noticable difference with the smart pots? I was considering picking up an Aeroponics or ebb system but really don't know if it would be worth the money. As far as the lamps go I've never had a problem running the 2 600's. The only time they've ever kicked the breaker is when I'm running all my appliances at once lol. I think I'd be able to run another lamp without any electrical issues but cooling my small room would be a lil rough.
 
Yea I run one dwc bucket just to kinda mess with hydro and you can really mess things up quick soil I feel is easier, and yeah I didn't really think they would do that much and they made these 2 platnium bubbas I have just blow up I lstd them and stuff but there in 5 gallon ones and there nice 2 and a half foot bushes.
and really? About the lights hell yeah that gives me hope ha I could just run the 4 6s at night when I won't be using any appliances
 
Pulled acouple of the girls out for pictures today. First pic is of the Afghan Kush Nice big cola with low leaf to bud ratio. Second is G13 Cheese Fucken amazing smelling plant and should produce a very good yield! Third is AK47 from clone dank as fuck strain. Last but not least is the big girl 818 Headband one of my favorite smokes but kind of a pain in the ass to find a good pheno! None the less she should be my biggest producer and will probably stay in the flowering room a week longer then the others. Didn't feel like pulling them all out but these give you a general idea of what's going on with the grow!!
