just looking for advice, building a grow room, rdwc, scrog. I was just wondering what others would do?

I was thinking, 6 plants 6x4 canopy

Should be adequate lighting right? I could go 7x3, but I don’t feel that 3’ is wide enough..

If you're going with a larger size canopy for the size light you're using, try to take advantage of reflective walls etc. Consider using a corner location or, if you can, hang something to create as much reflective surface as possible.

Also, some strains perform better in lower light conditions than others. Indica dominants versus Sativa dominants.

The rule of thumb used to be 50 watts per square feet. Unless you got a light mover I wouldn't go 7X3. 4x4 is what I would do. 4 plants.

Using a corner is something I definitely have considered, but I like the idea of full access around whole canopy, especially with a scrog. The room is actually going to be 8x7. But I don't want to get more then 2 600w hps.

2 600w hps for a 4x4 canopy seems a little overkill to me, especially since I'm running 1 600w in a 4x4 right now, I couldn't imagine a 2nd..

Also, would you guys think 2lb from a 1200w rdwc system is in the realm of possibility or should my expectations be a little lower?

All depends on your plants really, but with the right plants sure. I would be aiming for 1.4 to start though. Again, you could be training and vegging for 5 weeks for all I know, it depends.

Nothing wrong with a 600 watt hps, but if you haven't already bought your light(s) you may want to check out using two 315 cmh lights. Two points of light over your 4x4, and watt for watt compared to an hps , a good possibility of a higher yield too.

Yes, access to all sides of a scrog makes sense. Good call.

Good luck.
