should move your lights a bit further away, your soils prolly drying up quick cause of it

don't move your CFLs away. cfls need to be close to your plants or you will be losing lumens. keep them where they are

yea i am keeping them as close as possible i am just worried that i may be confusing the plants because i have noticed more new growth on the sides rather than the top.

I would keep them roughly about 4 inches away from the plants, any closer and your likely to see some burn,or dried up soil, which will not help matters,CFLs can work wonders though.

pyrex give up on the getting the lights too close. if you have proper ventilation the plants can touch the bulbs.

rivers he means once one side looks bigger than the others spin the plant a 1/4 turn to either way... this will eventually even out the plant.

are you feeding this plant at all?

i started the urine treatment 3 days ago. its for personal. i feel i should add that because alot of people dont agree with it. also i do have a fan blowing on it so the bulbs stay cool:joint:

oh sorry mr pro CFL grower that knows everything. You can already tell the plants burning weather its from nutes or the light being to close. regardless better safe then sorry.

the lights are still the same length now at five weeks. those were three weeks and the burn was from over nuting anyway i had some hot soil.

it is burning because of nutes how would the bottom leafs burn if it was from the light being to close don't you think it would show sings of it burning on top?? not bottom two inches are fine that is where i have mine and i have never had a problem....
