C churchhaze Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2019 #7 After 12 hours of darkness, all the starch in the leaves will be used. There's no need to have a 72 hour or 2 day dark period. Once the leaves run out of starch, growth will mostly stop in hopes the lights come back on.
