2 different strains but one won't bud up

Hi fellow growers
ive finally gotten over my slow growth, I just bought a 600w mh, I've got one blue mammoth on the right and a blue cheese on the left(pic taken 3 days ago so they about an inch taller now). So the blue mammoth auto started flowering and the blue cheese has plenty pistils showing so I decided to switch to flower with nutes and the mh light but the flowering sites don't seem to be getting much action, the blue cheese was planted a week before the mammoth but I broke the tap root when changing my rock wool because my ph dropped due to a extremely stupid misread of ph down an I had to transplant, I placed it quite deep in the rock wool hoping it would help my sog plans and now with the first node coming straight from the base of the plant it's outgrown the mammoth but won't bud, I know the mammoth being an auto flower I expect it to be a little smaller but seriously the stem on the mammoth is half the size and an inch longer before the first node, ph is 5.6 to 5.7 all the time and canopy temps around 25 and 40% humidity, ppm is around 1500 for now as I'm 4 weeks into flower, I've checked for light leaks and the only possible light coming in is below the canopy through the 5 PC fans I've got pulling air in and I cover the 2 fans I have on the ceiling when it is in dark mode, I'm doing my first grow to find

Try using more periods when you write.

Adding a paragraph every now and then will also help.

No pics.

No clear idea what you are asking.

Is the blue cheese an Auto also? If so give it some time, if not then here's whats going on... The mammoth being an auto will flower by itself no matter what the light cycle is(hence the Auto-flower description). The blue cheese is a photoperiod plant meaning the light schedule must mimic the seasons in nature. You must switch your lighting to be off(complete darkness) for 12hrs in order for this plant to flower. If you only have one grow space then you will want to construct some sort of light deprivation container for the blue cheese(for example a box covered in a black trash bag or whatever you can make to not let light reach the blue cheese) because of the mammoth. Autos do best when you continue to give them 20+ hrs of light.
