2 Grow Tents or a dang room

hello

so I would appreciate some opinions. I am currently upgrading my set up from a 5x5 with a 1000 watt hps. I do this with 15 plants successfully and I would like to double it and get another 1000. I am wondering if I should do 2 tents, or one large tent, or a whole dang room? I am leaning towards 2 tents because I can go with different strains with different flowering times (would also minimize risk of losing yield due to infection-doubtful though). I also like how easy it is to control the environment of a tent compared to the room. Let me know!!

give us more information..are the tents in a basement?

Lots of things to consider. I like that my tent can be dark while the room it is in isn't. I also like my proximity to a water source. I have rooms with more space and better climate control, but too far from water or fresh air. If I had a room close to water and everything else my plants need, I would need to consider the impact on daily life too. Does your room have any other uses?

I would say two tents,
for the reasons you stated.

If you plan on climate control you should build the room. If youre just gonna let mother nature control your climate you can just use the tents.

Thanks everyone for the responses, sorry I haven't responded lately. I have decided to go with a 5'x10' tent with 2 1000 watt hortiluxs. I will probably start sharing some pics once things have advanced further.

I am also wondering what everyone thinks about "Defoliation" methods? The articles I have read say that it is good with a few plants but I will be doing scrog so perhaps just a milder form.
