2 head units or 1 for New mini split

So I have two rooms the same size and same amount of lights. For the past year now the mr cool 3 ton diy unit has worked well, so I’m gonna buy another one for the other room. Since I have bought that unit though they came out with 36k units with multiple head sets. I am looking at one that comes with 2 x18k head sets.
I am trying to call and find out the true cooling capacity of the one with 2 head units because the 3 ton unit I already have is actually only like 34000 cooling. If the cooling capacity is more I will get the one with two head units.
Otherwise I am not sure it seems like more failure points. But more even air distribution sounds good too.

No, replies. Well my calls to Mr. Cool didn’t go well, they said they didn’t have any techs available to discuss the btu output of the dual head mini split for two days. And referred me to ingrams, I can’t stand ingrams but had kind of forgotten how much til I tried to call them today. You can’t get through in the phone I’ve been on hold for hours before. I did talk to a tech online and he basically told me none of their techs could tell me if it was actually 36k vooling

Anyways I figured mr cool is generic anyways and I saw another brand of diy unit it’s called perfect aire and when I called the company I hit a few buttons and was talking to a tech without ever being on hold. Answered all my questions. These units are actually 36,500 btu where as the mr cool 3 tons were really like 34000 btu cooling. So anyways the line sets look to be the same kind of deal and easy to install without any special tools just like the mr cool.

So I figure for the cost they are kinda disposable as long as I get one spring/summer out of it I’m good. And if it works as well as the mr cool unit, shouldn’t be hard, I’ll be ordering some more units.

I will continue to update this post when I make a decision and order. Still open to just ordering the mr cool dual head and trying it to see if it’s better, I just wish I could get better customer service. It’s a small company in Kentucky from what I can tell but I swear it would be more helpful to outsource calls to India as bad as they are at service.
