So in the led worm hole today.. looking to upgrade my 3x3 light sooner than later.

Came across the 200 diablos
200$ 200 watts
Get 10% off too

maybe they’ll have a bigger sale soon other than the current 15% off their popular lights (this one not included)

400 watts potential too much juice for a 3x?
I like the idea of two lights for some reason

looked at the growers choice roi 420e too but that ones the legit size of the tent and the spec says 6” clearance around the light

Would love a nice bar style light, even looked at the new-ish (I think Mars)FC3000 but that’s only 300 watts for like 330$ Good deal but if I can get 400 for about the same price and of better quality (IMO). Have had good experiences with hlg products and customer service

also checked the 300L HLG and the 350R but watts for dollars I think my best bet for 400 quality watts are two 200s

Anyone squeeze a light like the growers choice into a tent *just* big enough dimensions wise and disregard the manufacturer’s spec in spacing?
It’s probably that way for heat dissipation but id throw a fan on it/at it no problem

Sorry for another which light post but I’ve narrowed my choices down and now I’m just wondering what’s the best use of my money.
Probably won’t upgrade tent any time soon
I’m willing to spend some coin on the light. Maybe not ChilLed money but definitely some American made stuff

also looked at Timber lights too. There’s a 4L one; 425 watts. That seems sweet too

The RIU code doesn't work with that light, just so you know. Personally I'd get something that has a better footprint for a 3x3, but those are nice lights.

Ahh of course it wouldn’t lol dang..
and yeah that’s why I was thinking of getting two of them spread equal in the 3x
Maybe I’d create a super hot spot in the center with crossing of lights?

I have basically the 4vs from timber in my 3x3.
I also have 2x 240 watt citizen 1212 cob bars as side lighting.Definitely over kill.

I usually run the vero29s at like 60-70% and the side lights at about 40-60%.

she’s bright that’s for sure.
