If you decide to transplant into another pot, you can also bury the stem in the soil up higher (closer to the leaves), if your plant continues to stretch up higher, and that will give added support. Like you do when you replant tomato plants if you've grown them. Cheifin is right about the fan. I couldn't believe how thick my plant's stem got once I added a fan. I staked mine the first few weeks. Then I added the fan, and before I knew it, I had a tree trunk about a half inch thick. I'm only on my first grow, just switched to 12/12 this week, so I don't know much yet, but I like to help out when I can, pay it forward. The people here have helped me a lot. They are very, very knowledgeable. Every once in a while there is some off-base advice, but most of the time they are spot-on. I've learned, the hard way at times, already that it pays to listen to what they say and follow their advice..... even if it seems like it's a lot of effort and supplies needed for just a "weed". This weed can be quite persnickety.
