Lookin good man. Ive been looking into doin LED...cause im in hawaii and the HID lights put out soo much heat, i have to run 2 A/C's 24 hours a day. i just looked at your journal and i would say definetely keep to the HPS. my LED dont compare to 1k watt. but in response to your question, they dont emit almost any heat. they came with three built in fans made to cool the whole thing. i dont have a therm in there to check room temp so i couldnt really say what the increase is.

If anyone is interested I have 2 new hydro sites opening soon but I do have the 90 watt led ufo lights for $290 shipped anywhere in the US or Cananda. Have grow tents and alot of other stuff also. If you want some of the 90 watt leds just pm me

Do you have other equipment , like CFL's? Envirolite in particular but not limited to? i'm lookin into a cfl setup for next winter wich means im using this summer to gather the money and be just in time for when the cold season hits.

if you have ALOT of heat issues and the A/c's that you use aren't keeping up or it's runnings your pockets thin . Look into some CFL's. They produce with out as much hassle with heat .Envirolite is a big hit in the CFL technology. check them out.

have you got any blue light? they look somewhat stretchy growing under all that red light. interesting to see if these UFO's are the same as a 400w HPS looks like we are goingto find out for real and not some bull shit High Times posted.

In most cases that I HAVE SEEN , they tend to do that but produce a nice stash if done correctly

the UFO is like 60 red and 30 blue i think or something like that. And if your judging the stretch off the plant in the front then take a look at the others. the one in the front is a ww which is sativa dom and im trying to contol the height so it doesnt get too stretched for the others. all of the others are within 6 inchs with lots of growth.

ya width and lenght wise im pretty much out of space but plenty to grow up. i was supposed to flower sunday which would have stopped the need for space but with the one light being out of commision i gota keep them in veg for alttle longer.

got some good news today. i called up HID HUT and was told that the ballast was shipped this afternoon and should be here in the next 2-3 days. the next morning after the ballast comes im switching to flower. ill update with pics tommorrow.
