2 month old plant drooping after topping.

Hey guys, im new here to the forum and well, what we are all here for as well:) Unfortunately no photos available, but I topped 2 of my plants I started from seed and they are from the same bud i found them in. They are about 2 months old and have been topped once before to main line. My problem is just 1 of my plant has drooped severely after topping. The other seems to be taking it well. I've maintained a regular feed schedule with PhD water and botanicare. I have also monitored room temp religiously. I haven't had any problems up till now other than some curling down talons which i believe is nitrogen toxicity due to the dark green leaves. Infact! the talon'd leaves are still holding the same shape, just not up right. So to me it isn't dead. It happened what i think over night, and the only problem I think could have done this was it was not watered before I snipped tops for clones. They have plenty of lower branches with new fan leaves which are very healthy. I know they do go into shock and some people rarely see this as a cause of death and some do. My expectations were to get the lower branches to bush out and get more focus. I dont have any pests other than some small fruit fly/ fly nats but i have bug tape set. I noticed this on my routine and immediately watered it with straight ph adjusted water. Any help will be super appreciated.

You'r not going to get much suggestions without pics.

Is it wilted and yellow? Brown or discolored?

If not I wouldn't worry about it unless it keeps on for a few days.

My phone is being a little screwy with finding photos, but I think I scared myself. 2 hours after watering and my top leaves rose back up and the bottom leaves are still drooping slightly. I think it was the stress with lack of water. The soil was fairly dry yesterday.

good! #1 suspect when plants suddenly droop like that is always lack of water
