I was looking at Attitude's website this morning, and I noticed 2 new HSO strains. One is called Dr. Greenthumbs EmDog and the other is Headband. The EmDog is supposedly a strain brought to HSO by Cypress Hill frontman B-Real which I thought was pretty cool! The Headband isn't in stock though atm! Here are the breeder's comments for them:

Humboldt Seed Organization Dr Greenthumbs EmDog
Humboldt Seed Organization is very proud to present this collaboration
with Dr Greenthumb - B Real of Cypress Hill!
B Real´s friend and in house Cypress Hill breeder Keif Sweat has created
this cross, some of the best and most expensive weed actually available in
Los Angeles.

Keif Sweat is part of the Cypress Hill / Soul Assassins
crew, and his product is being smoked by all of LA's top Dj's,
musicians and celebrities.

Keif´s mission is to continue the innovation of the OG Kush line, and this
cross is the one that made B Real get so excited that he decided to put
his name on it.

This powerhouse elite US clone introduced to us by Cypress Hill's front man B
Real is the result of his two favorite strains, the original OG Kush aka
"the crippy" crossed with the Chem #4. This unique blend of both gassy top
shelf flowers will remind you of the oldschool.

No doubt, wether you are an old Cypress Hill fan or a Deadhead… this is a
must for your collection!

HEADBAND

Headband grows well with medium length internodes, quite compact, and is
extremely resinous.

The smell and flavor are a mix of fuel and sour, the effect is very
strong and the high is sativa style, high, clear, and long lasting,
thanks to its Og Kush heritage.

Top flavor, and very strong, not for beginners.

uh...they are out of England not Humbolt
the photos I looked were not what they said they were. Bubba Kush was not Bubba, OG was not OG, Trainwreck was not Trainwreck. You get seeds but probably not what you thought you were getting

Ooh they're dropping even more famous names to make us want their genetics even more. They won't talk about their parent stock or how their seeds are made for "security reasons." But they assured me that it I spent $10+/seed I would be certain their genetics originated in California. I don't care if they are legit, this shadyness pisses me off and I won't support it.

^^ All too true!!

They're UK based, made in the UK and the people behind this co are also behind Emerald Triangle FEM lines and the newly added "Medicann" brand. They are also a part of the network of people behind Weed World magazine based here in the UK too.
These co's are praying on the newer market and are only cashing in on these legendary US clone only names. I would not grow gear from any of them if I were paid up in advance for the costs of the cycle. Save your time, cash and effort and look around some more, as I guarantee that there is way better to find out there atm :leaf:

Also have grown Emerald Triangle seeds with good results. Problem is, none of you are basing your opinions on experience, just shit you've read or heard. I have never ordered a seed from any company that has been garbage. Too much worry about a name.

I have never said their seeds were bad, just that I refuse to do business with them because of how shady they are.

I seen the humboldt og grown first hand. Two different phenos, both whack with a capital HACK. Looked and smelled like a ww cross. No way was it og. And munkie said ET's FEM lines. I assume people affiliated with hso are ONLY doing the feminizing. All ET's genetics come from the US. ET;s regs are made in the US, the fems are outsourced using the same genetics. And to break it down further, most of ET's genetics came from a fellow by the name Zoolander. Its all based off his Chem Sis x NL x Sour Lemon Larry. HSO on the other hand are using fake shit, at least where their og is concerned.

As I have said already I guarantee that there is way better to find out there atm. I read WW mag, saw the press releases when they first started and made up my mind on my own thinking and what I research. Not what I hear from others. HSO were vending on WW's site way before the 'tude started carrying them. They scrapped all their old offerings, like ~ Blueberry x White Widow & Jack White 707. Both which used the same pics as dinafem strains do lol.

I make my picks based on the parentage of the strains, smaller indie breeder/seed makers too. I aint no breeder fanboy as I'll run and do run gear from many different seed makers. And clone only vars too :bigjoint:.

All these new co's around are selling fem "Brand name" strains for a quick return are here to cash in on the seed market rush and gullibility. What they're selling I aint buying into one bit. For the risk & costs of growing I'd much rather have the best possible quality I can get :weed:

so are you saying breal and keif sweat are NOT the creators of emdog? i love to gamble a bit when i buy my seeds. that's how i found my insane larry og pheno, over a gram per watt (all in less than three months from start to finish!) of the dankest og here in the valley (easy bet). my larry og came from the shadiest breeder in the country...lol and i couldn't be happier.

My buddy has a Blue Dream of theirs and it smells fantastic. It is the best plant of his out of a Kosher Kush, Critical+, and Liberty Haze. I don't know about the rest of their strains, but their BD is looking great! Just my opinion.

I got freebee seeds of Blue Dream and Trainwrek last year. I just ran both strains and cloned off those before flowering in case they turned out good (and they were). Since I have a small grow area I could only do 2 of each strain when the clones were ready. I got over 1 gram per watt (600W Hort) without really trying. Great yields, fair to good smoke, I fucking ordered the Em-dog in a heartbeat not due to the "hype" (I could give a crap about breal) but only on MY past experience with HSO. Clones came down in the spring and I haven't touched the finished product yet since I still have over half of the parents yield I'm still trying to use up.

I'll be back in December with a report.

I am flushing an HSO Pineapple Skunk right now and it came out as advertised, Huge yield, amazing smell, very hardy, incredibly easy to grow. I am also growing Emerald Triangle Royal Purple Kush regs right now and they are also doing great and smells exactly like you would think a Purple Kush should but not the biggest yield and not purple even with cool temps. I imagine I just did not get a purple pheno or who knows I only popped 6 regs and 4 were female. But as far as HSO goes I have only popped one Pineapple Skunk bean and it came out amazing.
