I'm trying to go with cfls 23watts 6500k daylight 1600lumens 4 bulbs for each plant is that bad can anyone help me
2 plant closet grow - cost???

depending on what kind of yield your going for you would be better doubling up the bulbs between 1 or 2 plants with a scrog or some lst

I just set up a 2x2x5 tent in my closet. I also set up a 3x3x4 veg area. The tent is a 400w air cooled HPS the veg area is 6 2' T5's. Most of my cost was in the tent and HPS which i spent $300 to buy new with a new digilux 400w hps bulb. Besides this i went on Craigslist and bought a 4" vortex fan and the T5's for $50 each. I also bought a new carbon filter online for $40. U will also need ducting and duct tape. So all in all the hardare ill cost u about $440. From there its just nutrients and soil which can be very cheap or very expensive depending on your preference, i spent about $60 on GH 3 step flora series and some supplements. Nutes should last atleast 1-2 cycles. Also spend ~$40 on good soil/soiless combo which will last me at least 3 cycles. All and all i have a perpetual 3 month cycle for bout $500-$600 initial investment.

Mine are still still a baby with 2 round leaves and the 2 other ones on top but the stem looks like a lil purple color . Is that bad or should it be like that because it still a baby any help please
