I know I know never put more then 1 plant per pot but in this case im going to I've seen it done before successfully and I just a have a couple questions about it.
I am growing in a PC case going to use a rectangle pot im planning to put my babies 1 in each corner and making the roots go towards the middle. But im not quite sure if I should do it yet..and I would hate to have to let go of 1 of the seedlings.
My questions:

1• If I do that and 1 of my babies is a fucken dick how would I take it out without harming the other one?

2• what are the chances of them surviving?

3• what would be the first signs of rootbound or them choking each other?

Thanks hopefully I get a response soon?
Happy growing!

I have a growing friend who does 3 plants in a 5 gallon bucket. What others are saying is true...they will be fighting for what they need and your yields will be lower but how much lower is up for debate...most important facts about multiple plants in the same pot is the strain your growing...some strains play well with others....some just choke the life out of the other plant...other strains wont even play nice with a clone of itself...in the end you should do your own research on what you have and how well it does with a roommate by just trying it out....unless that will cause you more time and effort then you feel like its worth to find out....happy growing

Only system I have seen that works is to plant several plants into a large square tub instead of a tall round pot. The surface area of the tub is larger than would be possible with equivalent pots.

I've used window boxes for the last few years and they seem to work out fine. They're about 2 1/2 ft long by 8 in wide, about the same depth. I put 5 plants per tray. If I have to remove a plant, I just cut it off low. Hope this helps you.

done that many times outdoor, in pots or in holes. actually i always do it in holes, since i use reg seeds. from my exp in pots, they will both grow fine, just smaller and smaller buds than if u just have 1 per pot. in my opinion, still better 2 smaller pots then 1 big.

I'm still getting mixed answers thanks for your help but I want my questions answered.

thanks poncho for the advice on cutting the plant.
My pot is 1ft long and 4inches deep.

I'll probably buy a bigger pot.
I have 2 pots long but im afraid of loosing space.
They are 5.39in H
6in dos.

Surely you'd be better off buying 2 pots which equal the size of your one and just planting them that way?

By all means go ahead and try what you want, but I just don't see a logical side to it, unless you're going to transplant each plant into it's own 5litre+ pot at a later date, or you have a real issue with space to grow in.

The bigger the roots, the bigger the fruits.

hahaha i like that the bigger the roots the bigger the fruits.

well my friend is an outdoor grower and he puts his babies fairly close to each other and he never seems to have any problems.
but i am a noob and i dont want another grow going bad.

so i might by 2 pots and make them fit in my space perfectly using up every last inch of it. i need to go do some shopping.
i would love to see the root system grow of a grow with 2 plants in 1 pot how they look like.
doesnt dwc do that wouldnt they get tangled as well?

I have often put two plants in one container, never less than 60 liter tubs tho, I think tho in the case of a pc grow box, the limited space it might be no better or worse either way, root bound seems to be the norm in these small grows.

I saw 1 PC grow do it. But he did witch clones nice lighter sized buds
He did scrog/lst I wish I can contact him but can't find the thread anymore.
This guy pull an ounce off of it incredible. For a PC grow.
Mine isn't really a PC I had an old accordian box sitting out back came with key lock and everything so I stripped the cotton it had in their for protection of the accordian. And put some pc fans and a couple cfls 4 to be exact
I have 19inches of height.

I have alot of thinking to do because the other pots im talking about are pretty tall?
