Hi There,

I have an Indica bag seed, and a Utopia Haze plant both 6 weeks into flowering, and over the past week both have started to signs of some kind of deficiency/lock out.

On the Indica, not too bad, just the tips are a little crispy and dried, and some of the leaves are yellowing and spotting, but on the Sativa plant, the leaves are curling upwards, drying and crisping from the tips and a few are dying rapidly. The plants overall look has gone from healthy and beautiful(!), to not so hot in just a few days.
The PH looks to be a little on the acidic side of things, i think maybe over the past few weeks i may have been gradually getting a bit heavier on the nutes and waterings, so i think this may be the cause. I have been watering every other day, and nuting roughly 3 times a week, with nitrosol, blood and bone liquid plant food.
Up until now they have both been pretty healthy and no problems at all.

I am growing under a 150hps light set up, good ventilation, indoor but in the Australian summer, its hot and humid as hell at the moment.

i was thinking a good flush, water with dolomite lime solution and maybe some epsom salts, as i read on another thread it could be a mg def...

if any of you guys could take a look at my pics and give me your opinion, that sativa2.jpgindica1.jpgsativa1.jpgsativa3.jpg be great as this is my first grow, and ive raised these two beautiful plants from seed! ill jump off the balcony if i loose either of them now!!!!

Cheers.

It looks like environmental damage to me mate and some nute burn, You gotta find the way to make it more suitable for your plants

Nute burn i can understand but the environment has been the same since day one. Could that be something that could have made such a difference? I guess closeness to the bulb is the only thing that would have changed...Now they are probably 6 inches from the bulb?!

How big are your pots? The pots look pretty big to
be watering every other day? And they're only under a measly 150 watter
The burnt curled up leaves tips are classic nute burn
what type of dirt is that I've never heard of your nutes

I'm leaning toward a minor nute-burn and/or salt buildup. The dark green color indicates plenty of available N,P,K so pH is not likely to be a issue. You are probably right on track with a mild flushing but, this late in to flower I doubt that any amendment of dolomitic lime would have sufficient time to alter pH before harvest in a few weeks anyway. They certainly don't appear to be dying so I would just make sure to keep the soil consistently moist to keep the salt build up minimized, ride it out until time for harvest and you should be good to go. I've had several soil grows that look like they've been through a war and lost at the end, they still yield high quality buds.
