Hello riu, I currently have 2 plants 21 days into veg. I had them in MG soil, but I transplanted to foxfarms because of nuteburn. When I got them in foxfarms they were growing great at first but it apears its getting burn again see pic! I dont know if its frommy lights, 5 23 wt cfls each. I also had flushed them before I transplanted should I flush again? I dont water them to much every 5 days and my PH is 7 using distild water. I also have not used any nutes. Any advice? thanks

Wow man..you messed up pretty good..your mistake was transplanting them from a heavily nutritious soil, which in this case is bad chemcial nutes..to ANOTHER heavily nutritious soil..fox farm has ALOT of fish based organicx nutes and other good stuff...for now, only feed with RO WATER...and they SHOULD bounce back..try SUPERTHRIVE..works wonders...also,give it a very GOOD flush asap..to clear the rootball from all the nasty MG chemicals..then just water with pure water..and after a week, they should be good..clip the heavily burned leafs cus they wont ever recover, and are just causing stress...

Maybe flush the roots out with lots of water (not enough to kill) to relax the roots worked like 5 times for me.

my guess is miracle grow has timed release nutes, those are all wrapped up in your ball and once began releasing well after transplant, you get burned again.

Stop flushing if there is any MG soil in that root ball. Just leave them alone and let them recover. Raise those lights 2" like the other guy said or just turn a few off, that's too much heat and light for that little thing. You also need a fan on it. Looks like you're cooking it both ways, with nutes and with light/heat.

Most impratant though is stop doing things without asking first. That mg soil would have been fine had you just left it alone.

I wanted to leave them in the MG..... but I read so much bad things about MG that I switched to foxfarms. There is a fan on them all the time and the lights are 2 iches away. So I should move them out about 2 inches? Thanks for the help

meds is right i use MG and have never had problems plus as for watering water when the soil gets dry if thats 5 days water then if its 2 days water then.... for future reference try to leave you plants alone... these arent some rocket science plant.... a lot of effort goes into breeding to make things easy in most strains very easy...., just remember keep you temps straight and use lighting properly and water when needed..... then worry about nutes if you see defieciencys. i use mg mixed with topsoil from the bank next to a creek as well as compost.. i dont add nutes during veg unless i identify a deficiency. then when plants are ready to flower i ween them on to nutes SLOWLY...

pce man hope we helped happy new years

You should really have a soil in the begining that just has regular dark soil, worm castings, perlite, potting sand, and some premix. You should not use NUTES in your soil initially. The wormcastings should be enough. Flush them and get them in good soil.

oh, when I say no NUTES. I mean no nutes in the water you are giving it. Go with 55% dark soil 10% perlite,10% potting sand,20 % wormcastings,5% premix. This should be just fine until flowering.

fox farm is great just you need to dilude it with a less nutritious soil..... any thing very little npk like a week compost or peat... peat would work well

Don't do any more stuff transplanting they're already weak and you don't need to do it. Yea I've bitched about MG soil hardcore when I first used it but that was because I too used it wrong. (trying to flush with small sighns of burn or trying to add anything like a fert etc) Once you realize it only needs proper watering and nothing else you're golden. Same with the foxfarms you are using now, just let it be and don't add any nutrients until the plant shows signs it needs it. It will show you when that time comes.

But anway just back off on the light or turn some off. What is the temperature at plant level right now if you stick a thermometer under those lights? I bet it is too hot.
