2 Q's!!!! ballast in the tent & 6 weeks to soon???

probably a stupid question, but I started my grow in a small closet and kept both my ballast on the closets top shelf and nothing bad happend.. so i just bought a 4x4x8 tent and i'm wondering what's gonna happen if i keep my ballast inside this tent???

also my plants are 6 weeks old, all are between 1 to 1.5 feet tall and none have been topped.... no sex has shown yet and i'm wondering if it would be ok to start 12/12 or should i wait a abit longer??

You can keep your ballast in your tent, however I'd recommend putting it outside because tents can get hot with all the added stuff.

You can throw them into 12/12. Just remember that Indicas usually double in size when in flower and Sativas double or triple. It's up too you.
