So Im planing to start my grow room soon, and I have two questions:
The first is about chose Indoor soil, hydro, or aero. So the thing is, hydro and aerophonic can produce faster and larger yield right? But some people say that the taste of the buds from the soil have a better taste, is true and is worth it?
The second question is about the amount (g/oz...) of buds per plant, I just saw a guy telling how hopefuly he was for getting 2oz per plant, that makes me sad
Im thinking about get a new 60x60" tent and two 400 or 600 MH lights, and Im thinking about 2 400 or 600 HPS during the flowering period. If I get good seeds from Nirvana how much can I produce with this set up?
Thanks for your time! I will love if you guys help me! :leaf:

I wouldn't get seeds from nirvana. If your just starting out try soil first. be careful ordering seeds from attitude also. a lot of seed breeders have more than one name for example delicious seeds sam sara and world of seeds are the same breeders. dna and reserva provida are the same. try sannies if you go with attitude reserva provida, dna, mr nice are all good.make sure you check out the strain reviews and smoke reports. you can use a vanilla visa prepaid debit online shopping card.

some people get good yields but they have in down pat. if any thing gets messed up in hydro they all suffer. if you go airo or hydro make sure you dont have power issues.

I would power up everything to make sure you don't blow any breakers. make sure the room has enough air flow and make sure its not too hot

Thanks guys
So it doesn't matter if I use 250, 400, or 600 I will always get about 2oz, the only difference will be the bud's quality?
The buds from soil really have better taste than hydro/aero?
SCROG can make your plant produce more or people do that just to keep the plant short?
haha i said just two questions but actually I have a few :P

More wattage I guess in simpler terms translate to the ability to have more plants, not necessarily more per plant.

The soil taste thing is probably more of a personal preference, but for a new grower soil is 100x more forgiving...and probably also tastes better. ;p

Scrog can def make for better production because it gets more even distribution of light on the green parts of the plant that need light. I would do a search for LST and start with just the basics before getting all scroggy.

+1 on the soil recommendation, much easier to learn in than hydro. Don't worry about yield yet, your first grow should be about dialing in your environment, getting the kinks out of your system, and learning about plants. Don't go crazy on the nutes, don't overwater, and DO NOT TELL OR SHOW ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!!! loose lips is the #1 way people get busted. That, and service men showing up unexpectedly, which is why you should be uber-careful if you are in a rental. The issue of lumens mainly refers to bud density, which is why you need to learn about plant grooming and the cutting of umbrella leaves, etc. Rotating your plants on a regular schedule is another way to increase lumens exposure. I say run the 600 if you can keep the temps under control, the ladies love the light! Best of luck, looking forward to seeing your progress!
