2 quick question about MH

Sorry if this is another repeat question but I really want to know....

yesterday i went to a light shop for a MH ,my little garden is 90cm*120cm,so i want to buy a 600w or 400w MH...maybe it's enough.

Q1：if i choose a 400w MH,is it enough for my place? And a 1000w MH,is it too strong to my plants?

and the owner told me ,there are 2 kinds of K of MH , 1 is 4500K and another one is 6000K...i totally have no idea at that time...

Q2：4500k or 6000K , which one is better one ?wich one will you choose ?

go with the 400 bc of the small area,its cheaper on the elec bill

6500k is best for veg,blue light

4500k is more on the red and for flowering

HK hi. Glad i seen this.Lighting..... during grow room design should be calculated depending on each individual grow rooms specifications. Different lighting should be chosen for different stages of growth.Some of these things were discussed in the following link. If u need more help just hit me up.
Total reccomended watts/sq.ft. Is 50

thank you , i get it...but if i want to use the MH for veg and flowering,which one is better ??:-P
(i know i should buy a HPS,but i m tight on cash now...:sad:)

If you are tight on cash get a enhanced spestrum bulb. Its a MH with more red light in the spectrum which makes them better for flower!

i think hps are about the same price as a mh adn you can use hps to go from veg to flower with no prob. if you have to us mh id go with the 45k

Hey hk. If i was u id go with an hps personaly and frow ur plant from seed to harvest with this. halide is awesome for vegging actually id reccomend that. but honestly not always practical in stealth grows. if you go with the hps it will help ur plant by not stretching much in veg.u will experience plenty enuff up growth in flower.U can even get the dual halide/hps bulbs but again. not neccesary in stealth grows.If u think about it u would be changing the bulb out in 2 weeks of veg at a foot to begin flowering. when hps will put u there just as quick. just my thoughts but what do i know. hope that helps. Dwc grows plants very fast. I veg with 4 cfls to a foot with my seeds this comes within the first 2 weeks as it is.

yes, i really want to get a HPS , if i do..a 1000w is more worth than the other watt,but it's toooo expensive to me~~so maybe i can just use a MH first,then add some 2000K CFL for my flowering.....how about it?
could you tell me How many plant that you grow with 4 CFL ?

hey..i have listened you...i bought a 1000w HPS yesterday...Hahaha
but i dont have any cool tube or something to cool it , mayne it will be another problem~~~

You bought a 1000 watter for a small space like that without cooling/ventilation? Your probably at the shop now exchanging it coz u noticed it was getting too hot right? Not trying to be rude, just amazed.
