CS,
Why are you concerned that they're short and bushy? I mean, you are growing in a cramped space. Once you switch to 12/12 lighting, the plant will at least double in height. Node spacing is often a function of light intensity and distance from leaves. Oh and also, blue spectrum light gives tighter nodes then red spectrum (bloom) lights. So relax your mind...

No problem CS,
Any fears about government conspiracies...I'm good with those too...lol

Just wanted to mention that growth patterns are also very strain specific too. If it was a sativa, you'd be worried about them being too tall! The plant looks healthy and quite indica looking...just what you want for a small grow space.

If u really did want to get light down there though there is a good technique called super cropping or even an low stress train but it bends the top over either at a 90 after breaking the inside vascular structure ( suppercropping, watch a video before u go hulk on it) or a nice bending arch to help induce other growth to make a top. If done well your original top will serve well but u will obtain many others if u like I can toss mine up to show how I do. Or u can simply top/fim but all these still keep it short I guess u really don't want a stretchy go u know!! But let me know I can toss a few pics up if u would like I'm about on track with u at 4 weeks
