Health Canada has issued a recall notice for two strains of cannabis over concerns about contaminants.

Bonify Ltd. Cherry Lime Pie and Warlock Kush, sold at three retail stores in Saskatchewan, have been recalled.

Roughly 52 combined units of the 3.5-gram packages of each strain were sold at Cannabis Co. in Regina, Spiritleaf in Moose Jaw and The Pot Shack in Saskatoon between Nov. 20 and Nov. 30.

"The recalled product may not meet some of the microbial and chemical contaminant limits as specified by the good production practices requirements of the cannabis regulations," a statement from Health Canada read.

Neither Health Canada or Bonify received any reports of adverse reactions to the recalled product. No complaints have been filed related to the product, according to Health Canada.

What a joke. Yesterday me and a buddy were in Brandon the closest city with a tweed my buddy who is not a medical patient wanted to buy a container to put his illicit cannabis in lol. Anyways we get to the twood shop and show our ID. I proceed to ask the bud tender which strains are not irradiated and he states all of them are for everyone’s safety. I start to laugh and explain to him that iradiation has never been tested for inhalation. Then asked if they knew which pesticides and fertilizers were used to grow each strain he said the lps have some secret sauce that they use that they won’t release. WTF This is when I burst out laughing and he asked me my purpose coming in lol. I stated I wanted to buy organic non irradiated cannabis and obviously they couldn’t help me out and I was asked to leave. A couple of the other people in the store started asking questions as I was escorted to the door fuck tweed

I would have told the dumb fuck this is Canada and we have strict laws governing the labels of food and drugs. AFAIK you cannot hide secret ingredients if it is not recorded on the label.
But our government has had the bright idea not to classify cannabis as the agricultural product it is, so LPs can do wonderful things like claiming to their investors that all of their production is profitable as if they weren't producing a perishable product.
