2 types good or bad

is useing 2 different light types benficial for the plants bad or not really matter i have a 65 watt cfl and am getting either a 250 watt mh or hps bulb would this be a bad idea or not and if good which 250 watt bulb would be better metal halide or hps

Personally I would go with the Hps bulb. You can run them throughout veg and flower and with a mh bulb, they cannot be used for flowering. But havin some supplemental lighting can be good too. Some use cfls throughout their grow room to get more light in a specific spot like in the corners of the room

I have to say i love my Super HPS bulb, from everyone ive talked to about them they all say they work great for veg and flower, the Super HPS has more blue and white spectrum in it compared to your normal HPS bulb, i bought the cheap 135 dollar ebay kit with dimmable ballast and 400watt S-HPS and i have to say so far so good, its not loud, its not to hot, granted im new to growing weed but i use this light to grow Anaheim Hot Peppers also and they love it, and as of these last 3 weeks my weed plants have really loved it.

yea im looking at one on ebay now haha most likely getting hps now and it works out good because im bout to put my girls into flower

Nice good luck man, i know alot of people say bad things about ebay products but in all reality ive been using ebay for 10 years, basically when i turned 16 and got a car.. and the only thing i wont trust on ebay is Turbo Chargers from China besides that ive bought car parts, grow room equipment, clothes, stereos, to even a carbon fiber kit i used to make a computer case with and im yet to have any quality issues what so ever.
