2 week harvest confusion!!!! Need some help....

ok i finally got the keys to my new place and more then ready to start my garden but i still need some useful information if possible.

room: 20x20
systems: ebb & flo or soil??
lights3) 1000 watt lights
nutrients: advance nutrients
strain: master bubba..
harvest:every 2 weeks

you can say im still learning since ive been doing this for about 1 year but i feel like i know what im doing..
ive never took the plunge to do a perpetual harvest becouse i was always limited on space. now that ive got the space im going all in.
i have the right idea how to obtain and maintain a 2 week harvest cycle im just lost on a few things.
i have all the lights.nutrients,fans,systems,chillers,meters,co2, literally everything you need to grow. so onto the confusions..

here comes the confusion.
i hear its a debatable subject on how many plants can fit under (1) 1k light.
ive always put 10 plants at 5ft under my lights..
but now that im doing an "sog" i hear i can put 15-20 plants per 1k??
STRAIN will be MASTER BUBBA 65 day harvest strain..
i have a good idea and plan to back everything up..
i just wanna confirm how many plants i can fit under my 1k light. i wanna put as many as i can..

plan is to take cuts from the mother plant and into cloner once they pop they will go straight into flower...
so plants will only reach 2-2.5 ft.

i do know that growing larger plants reduces the amount you can put under 1k..
but since im growing smaller plants can i add more???

so please if you have experiance on this subject help a fellow grower out
im only seeking advice from people that have done this and know what there doing..
i can google up info but ide like to hear from someone first hand..

I can't upload pics from my iPhone but the second I get a chance I'll post up some pics.

thanks for any info +rep

You can absolutely add more plants. Going for quick turnaround is what your shooting for. Smaller plants, no topping or lst work, and a SOG setup, means less bushy plants and smaller pots than long vegging, so more room for plants.

Awesome. In your opinion/experience how many plants would you say would be sufficient for my 1k.
I'm using hydrofarm raptors.
Also I'm debating on what medium is best for what I'm looking for..
Soil or hydro?
I just purchased 3 gallon buckets and 3 gallon pots just in case.
What would you recommend?

I grow for personal use only, so how many exactly will have to be answered by a large scale grower. Light placement will help to squeeze in more. Have it so the effective range slightly over lapse. I would have to say that 15-20 per light would be easy to do, but again, exact number, wait for more replies.

That's the number I had in mind as well.
But again like you said for more replies.
My partner is planning on opening a collective with in 6-8 months and asked me to have some meds ready and continuously be able to provide.
Are you soil or hydro?

Soil for me. I am an old fart and used to grow outdoors. Still call myself a noob when it comes to inside.
The 3 gallon pots will do yu fine. Even with me topping and getting 14-20 colas on a plant, the root mass is happy and not choked off in my five gallon. With keeping yours short, doing SOG, and 1 main cola you'll ok with the 3's. I have never done hydro, so can't answer anything about that, as I have never researched it due to not wanting to try it.

Subbed! I am going to be starting something similar in april so I look forward to seeing how this goes for you and how you set it up. Right down to which medium. There is a great thread about the 2 week harvest around here somewhere. They had 4 4x4 tray's with 16 each and I believe 1 1k over each, 3 mothers and a clone section.

What's up man..
Yea I read it before but I cAnt seem to find it anymore I've searched and searched and cant find it.
Right now I have a room for my 6 master bubba moms at 5.5 ft each plant and my clone section.
But like I said I wanna do a bit more research on what's better soil or hydro...
I will make a journal the second I start..

Thanks grumpy.
I'm literally reading on both mediums as we speak and so far it's all 50/50
I wanna try and run them at 3 main colas at first.
