u could i have never tryed but have heard of some guys doing this get a black bucket fill with nutes and a airstone sit ur pot over the bucket and let the roots sit in there they should punch down to the water and suck it up change it once a week like a dwc or bubble i have never done this but i have heard along the grape vine it works give it a go and let me no how it turnt out i have never done it due to the fact of i have been to worried about dirt bugs and all sorts of stuf but i dont have the time or plants to wast to try it

Man so we were looking at the bucket and we were both pretty convinced it was just a part of the bucket like plastic or something we tried putting the root through the hole it came through put it wasn't going in so we ripped it off fingers crossed it isn't even a root and was just some plastic from the container

I was gonna suggest something like this. No way in hell a two week plant has roots popping out of a five gallon bucket. Even if it was a root it wouldn't hurt anything to tear a couple off. If they are coming out of the pot there are plenty to spare
