2 Weeks away and next week is snow!

So, i harvested 2 girls last night (my smaller ones that flowered alot earlier) and guessing i got somewhere between 4 and 8 ounces lol.
Anyways so i have another 6 ft Afgan that is 6 weeks into flowering, the buds are nicely formed and developed just not as big as they should be. So i was hoping to make it 2 eight weeks of flowering, but now they are calling for 5 cms of snow on thursday and a low of -4 to 0 for the entire week, highs of 6-10.
What would be my best option, I have 3 others that flowered super late as well that are maybe 4-5 weeks into flowering (not sure why since they were started from seed in april and i grew the same strain last year).
So do i chop the 6 footer or hope the weather is going to be wrong and push it for atleast another week??? The extended says its going to get a bit warmer after that!

I'm having the same problem man. The weather man is calling for snow in about 2 days and I wanted to wait about another week. My leaves are now a dark blue, most likely from the cold, and it would have helped to have another week. I think we might just have to pull them and hope for the best :)

Don't let the weatherman decide if its time to pull your girls... just wait it out a bit you may get lucky and get that extra week you want!

Wow fast reply's haha, So problem with waiting is i'm gone away until next sat so i either chop on monday or wait. Freshgreen- My one that is the furthest behind is 7ft and completly purple i doubt it will make it but i'm hopin.
I'm leaning more towards pushing it for a week and seeing then but i will be very dissapointed if this 6 foot one dies!

So i got more frost again last night, I checked it out and it seemed alright but the entire week is a low of 32-30 and a high of not over 38.
As i was checking it I found a bud that was starting to rot so i pulled it. Now i'm trying to decide its in week 7 of flowering (afgan). I'm leaning towards harvesting the top buds? Good idea or should i go with the go big or go home approach and wait another week haha

Man so i just had to chop yesterday. its was way cold here all week lows of 24 and shit for almost a week. they didnt grow much that last week. so i would defently wait it out. i dont think it did much too them to try to wait it out and make it threw the snow. Anyways hope all truns out good.

Yep,what I was thinking.....stpid cap lock was on:-?.

About your plants, keep a close eye for bud rot, if you see some, carefully cut off the bud,get it away from the plant, picking off the rot isn't enough imo. If there is little wind and lots of moisture, rot will continue. (Thats the problem I had, luckily they were in pots so I brought them inside to finish.)
If you have a true Afghani, i believe they are a hearty plant, and some have been known to grow in the snow. Anyways, good luck:peace:.
