pylar it is systemic kills adult broad mights, hexigon kills the eggs and small mights over the counter stuff wont work, this lil bug is a hard one you need to be certified but if you break a bottle or you spray it without poper breathing equipment if you dont were the equipment you will get poisoned

Doc. I don't have a link for you......I can say this.....I (and several others in our little collective) Have over the years sent to MSU a total 172 samples to be tested by their Ag lab.....NONE have been tested as positive for TMV or Bean strain or the legendary "Sunn-Hemp rosette" that is listed in Wiki.
It was explained to me that it is able to be transmitted by direct contact only. The possibility factor for that here is beyond low due to no industrial hemp having been grown in the US for years.....The Agronomy labs at MSU have not seen a positive test in decades......One professor thinks it may have mutated OUT of compatibility to "our" strains by the constant breeding of new strains for our use as compared to Industrial. (I don't know about that myself)
I (we) stopped sending samples a cpl of years back....
The most given report was broad mites......btw.
So then, for any of "your" plants to get MV. The plant must touch an infected plant OR the grower must tough one and transfer it to his grow.....
Still believe it's around? Want to not get it? Don't touch anybody's plants but your own!!!! Not hard to do....

That's was about what I was thinking thanks for the insight sir. This takes us back to cleanliness and compost piles. if you have a suspect plant it should not go back into your compost pile. (no contaminated soil leaf material roots nothing) If you smoke tobacco wash your hands before doing gardening of any kind. other than that like I said tmv is rare. I wonder how somebody could just look at a plant and say tmv in the first place. you need an electron micrograph to see it. this is what you look for

Also, I would like to thank Dr.s Who and Pecker for the great information on my OP, MV in Cannabis. It really does go to show that you shouldn't just blindly trust a grower just because they have experience. The board here (and a 2nd opinion from a local friend) all pointed me to Over-fert where this guys 10 years led hom to say something that might not even exist in today's strains.

the yellowing is usually froim stored nitrogen being used up towards the cycles end. Most bloom nutes do not provide enouigh nitrogen because it delays flowering onset. Also, the general mindset is that P/K are iused heavily during flowering to produce huge nugs is not exactly correct. Over-ferting, and light burn can cause N lock out and bleaching. So, in addition to your bloom nutes suypplement with a high nitrogen fertilizer at day 25. This is after bud development has been triggered and N levels are being used up rapidly. I usually repeat this every 10 days but towards the final flowering weeks it is healthy and normal to see moderate yellowing. Plants withb less chglorophyll tend to taste better. Easy on the nutes next time.....good luck
