STOP! You are about to make a classic newbie mistake. DO NOT feed your seedlings any nutrients AT ALL right now. They are very small and they have enough stored energy to go a lot longer. If you feed them it will burn them and they will be stunted. Read that as "you feed more, it grows less" if it helps you to not do this.

You really should do yourself a huge favor and take that 250w HPS out of the equation right now. Go get a couple of CFL's and put one over each of those seedlings. Let them get 3 or 4 REAL leaves and then put them under that HPS. It'll make your life a lot easier and the plants will be much happier. You could just lower the HPS, but seedlings are very sensitive and they are easy to kill. Try not to help them along too much (feeding, watering, etc), but give them a chance by giving them softer light (much closer of course) and let them get up and going.

If you don't believe I know what I'm talking about here is a picture of the White Widow I just harvested...
Just to clear things up I was not advising him to feed any nutrients to his seedlings. I specifically said I would give 1/2 strength to my plants once they reach 3 nodes (3 sets of true leaves).

I'm going to start feeding mine a 1/2 strength solution when they get to about 3 nodes worth of growth and see how they take to that.
Anyway, glad things are doing good Shomkey. Can't wait to see the little ones grow :)

things arnt looking to good
theyre burnt.
but ive raised the light up to 10" and put another fan in also have the door open a little.
have the fan blowing directly on the bulb to cool it down untill i get a differnt one.
but i think the games up
im gona get a new bulb 2marro, which is better a 250w mh, or a 125w cfl eco-light.
and is the metal halide bulb as hot as the hps

I wouldn't give up on them. They look pretty good, maybe just use something that puts off less heat like a few CFLs. What are the temps in there with the Halide?

temps are 88.7 f useing a hps, im not giving up on them just not as serious as i was at the start.
if they die at least ive learnt a few lessons.
im not sure what to get between a metal halide and a 125w cfl now that ive got an exaust fan in there.
i think the temps good now?
tomarrow im going to put an intake fan in too.

Get a 3500k CFL - they need some more blue spectrum light for veg.

i got a 125w 6400k cfl and turned the 250w hps off.
temps are 75 F.
BUT NOW GOT ANOTHER PROBLEM LOL, ive got 0 humidity evan tho ive a bottle with the top cut off full of water and a 2 litre bowl full.
maybe just a faulty temp/humidity gauge. "check it out 2marro"

heres a few pics of the abused lol

is that heat burn or ? :joint:

has to be a faulty gauge - even the driest places on earth some humidity - Yuma Arizona has the lowest humidity in the U.S. at 22%.

Anyway they aren't looking too good but there is some promising new growth, don't give up on them, you'll be surprised how plans can bounce back. Just keep that CFL on them and a light breeze over the top of them.
