A light bulb apparently just turned on in my head. I have my plants on 20/off 4. I have been looking through this site for awhile, and I have not seen one person say that they have been doing this. I trust my "guy" immensely as these were his babies. But what does anyone elese think?:???:

they say that a plant cannot photo any more than 18 hours of light a day. I believe I read that on here and remember seeing it on the urban grower.

People on this group say different things regarding this subject. Anything above 18 hours a day would be fine.

Turning the lights off for four hours will work fine, they will grow 20% slower than on 24.

Think "metanuska thunderfuck", weed grown in alaskan greenhouses under 24-7. Grown in the Metanuska Valley, and Thunderfuck you can figure out!!

I don't think that's right. A plant will photosynthesize as long as you provide it light and it's not dead.

Mogie's right, anything above 18 is fine. Some people do 18, others 20, others 24, it's just a matter of choice. I personally think it's a good idea to give the equipment a rest for a couple of hours per day, but the plant itself will grow whether its 18 or 24.
