wow look at that the girls must be lovin the induction light. so really ? no heat 2-3 inches from te bulb? and not a/c? im jealous man. seriously

I do have an ac running in an adjoining room but it really only keeps things tolerable in the room that the tent is in... but canopy temp is consistently the same as ambient room temp which is normally 79-80 degrees... I know I'd be cursing right now if I had the HID's running~

im sure the heat is comparable to T5 heat not much heat in one spot(enough to make you not want to touch the bulbs, but i got stoner fingers it takes alot to burn me) but enough heat spread out over an area to dissipate easily. im sure if your turned off the ventilation things wiill warm up, really wish you would run that test for me just for knowledge's sake...

no 3 hours would be better that how long between my exhaust cycles when i running co2.
it can wait till later though like when the plant is out, or if you feel like putting it in a trash bag for 3 hours during its dark period.

I'm home tonight and it's light out for her in an hour and 20 mins... so I'll snap a pic before I zip up the tent... that'll give you about a 90 minute test...lol~

okay cool, so starting temp was 77 and a 3 hours test take a couple temp reading in between that time too.

definitly comparable heat wise to a t5 of slightly more wattage is what im seeing regardless useful info and decent temps too.

glad you reminded me to do it Poly.... this is after all hopefully going to provide some useful info for anyone who gives a shit...lol~
I guess it warrants mentioning the room was about 78 degrees...(according to the thermostat...the fact that the tent was a degree cooler suggests one of them was slightly inaccurate) prob cooled a degree or two when the sun went down... just a guess... but that would explain the drop at the end I suppose
