2010 northern cali outdoor grow.

hey guys i live in northern california. when would be the best time to put my plants outdoor the first week of may? it should be sunny days in cali by that time. also im wants to grow something that would give me a big yield. i going with 6 outdoor plants of og kush. is that i good strain to grow outdoor? also would it be a big producer? im also going with organic soils. and im planting the plants in the ground not using bucktes would that make a diffrence with my grow and help my plants get huge??? thanks for looking and i sure need help...

Yes Cali is a good place to grow outdoor and the plants shouldnt be put out untill april-may and at the latest aug. Hope that help man, do some research. Welcome!

I'm in Cali too and will plant my clones after the new moon in April, which is the 14th. I should wait til May but I want to get them started while the moon is waxing, becoming full. There are actual days suggested, and you should look at the Farmer's Almanac for those. Seeds are best planted in this period in April, clones in May. I'm planning on two good bushes of Purple Kush in two half oak barrels which carry 25 gallons of soil. I planted seeds May 5 my last grow two years ago and they turned out just perfect, cutting them down in late September. Hope this helps...
