I would not mist at night my friend. You are basically asking for mold once flower sets in . Now if you were to do it in the morning so the sun could burn it off another story. Oh and you have recieved advice from some great growers. Why havent you got the Maxsea yet?Keepem green dirrtyd

My hydro store didn't have Max sea, going to order some online I guess? I got epsom salts, so do I feed at 1 tsp per gal? Does misting even help the plant at all? I may just not do it anymore if it can cause mold. Thanks for the help everyone.

PS: the most recent supercropped branches have perked back up and are starting to swell at the spot I pinched :D I got did it much better this time I think.

I'm doing good, just been pretty busy with school starting again soon. Haha, that is not me in my avatar pic ;). I feel like saying this will blow some of my credibility, but I'm young enough to still be living with my parents haha (even though I bet a lot of people on here do) :hump:. I just randomly stumbled across this photo and knew it had to be my avatar :D. I'll go check them out now, and perhaps take a few pics. Thanks for checking in, always enjoy your posts :joint:

New pics! The only thing I'm still skeptical about is the yellowing of the fan leaves of the RD. It's getting to the bigger ones :( I assume max sea will help fix this problem, so hopefully I can get some tomorrow. The DV is beginning to branch out from all the nodes on the branches, and I think it'll fill in nicely :D . Anyone care to take an early guess on what they're going to yield each?

Side view of the Dolce Vita. I really hate taking pics of this plant at this angle, it's the only way I can get the whole plant in one shot but it makes it look extremely spacey. Not to mention the quality of the picture itself does it no justice. Anyway, I think it looks good :D

Stalk of the DV.

The Red Dragon. Note the yellowing big leaf :(

Yellow leaves

Tried to get a decent pic of the tops of the RD, fail. It's about as tall as me now and I'm 5'10"!

Sorry for the blurry pics guys, I'm going to use a real camera next update hopefully...

Loooooking goood Brandon! Damn man, new respect for a youngster! As far as the yellow leaves, I will probably catch a lot of shit for this, but I just pluck them off. wtf? Why let her put effort into a leaf that is not up to the challenge? Besides, what I don't see doesn't bother me. lol

imo, the yellow leaves at the bottom is just the natural cycle of a plant. If you can tug on it and it comes off, so be it. Otherwise leave it.

Is the Red Dragon beginning to change colors? Branches have colors like the pics below all throughout the plant and I have noticed it it spreading slowly as the days go by. I really hope this plant gets red buds! Or am I just getting excited over some deficiency that makes it change colors lol.

PS, fed the plants max sea and epsom salts, we'll see how they fare in the next week.

that would be really cool to see your reddragon change to red brando. Can you post a picture for me of what she is going to look like when shes ready to harvest. I have never heard of this strain before.
All your girls outside look mighty happy. I agree with sencha about the bottom yellow leaf. As the flowering cycle progresses more and more leaves will turn yellow and i think that is totally natural because all the enegy is being put into making buds and there is no use for the leaves anymore. Take it easy and have a killer weekend. Oh if you go to Dubbzor's journal he was having a red leaf issue and said it was a molyb. def. That is the only other red color disease i have heard of..later...amber

I haven't seen any red pics of it, but here are a few from grow journals of people growing RD :D . I kinda freaked out because I saw someone's thread about a leaf spot disease, and to me it looked pretty similar to the yellowing lower leaves I'm getting. Oh well, I fed them the Max sea a few days ago and the purple haze is already taking off and getting new green growth.

Today when I was checking out the plants I noticed a ton of tiny black bugs all over the DV and partly on the RD. I didn't have my phone on me, so I didn't get a pic. Basically, they look like tiny black dots on the leaves and then when I got close noticed they were bugs. Fed all of the plants maxsea for the second time, it's helping a ton! Will update pics soon on the container plants. What can I do to prevent mites? Does BT prevent mites as well as worms? Thanks guys.

Misting this morning I only saw a few of the bugs on the DV. I tried to get a pic of them, but the quality of my phone's camera combined with the extremely small size of the bug produced not being able to see it in my picture XD. However, I think the bugs left this weird residue on the leaf, so hopefully that'll help clue some of you into what they are? Thanks guys, hope everyone is doing as well as I :D.

Hey guys! All of the plants are beginning to flower (except the Super Lemon Haze and the Cali Hash Plant). I just realized after I've made this post and reread this, I forgot to update the Cali Hash Plant!!! It still hasn't shown sex so I don't really know what's going on there. I put it on the other side of the yard from the others just incase there are pollen sacks that I haven't seen. Unfortunately today when I took a closer look at all of the potted plants, I noticed they all had spider mites too! Atleast it's the same problem right? However, even with this pest, the container plants are looking much much better than they did last update. It seems like it's a toss up for which plant is doing best, I previously thought the Gigabud was getting huge and taking off, but now after this past mishap it's pretty bare on the inner branches. I bought some Volck Oil Spray at Home Depot because it said it kills Spider Mites and the lady at Home Depot said it was similar to Neem Oil. I sprayed some of this at 1/2 the recommended strength and covered the plants well with it on top, under, and in between leaves :D. I'll keep you guys updated on the results of it. Anyhow, here's the pics

The purple haze. This one has definitely shown the most growth since the last update :D I think it was the combo of the transplant from 5 gal to ~15 gal and the max sea.

The super skunk. I love how this one is shaped. I want all of my plants to be FIM'd like this... I'll have to be more careful next time around.

The gigabud. Still the biggest out of the container plants, but definitely not the healthiest looking.

The Super Lemon Haze !!! Can't wait for this one, I think I'm gonna need to add supports to it pretty soon.

Chernobyl on the left, Island Sweet Skunk on the right. The Island sweet skunk is the hairiest out of all of the plants so far, note the next pic

Island Sweet Skunk top bud (in progress). Really excited for this one, it smells super fruity already!
