Thanks guys! I will be gathering soil all winter. I have already started the seeds. I'm going to make them into mamas. The strains are jack herer, purple skunk, king solomons funk (local strain), and a random seed i got in colorado. I have two different phenos of JH one is a dense nug pheno and the other is more of a sativa/haze. I will be getting some maxibloom and maxigro for the nutes. I also have blood meal and some super bloom. Will a 1.5 x 1 ft hole be sufficient??? I thought it had to be bigger? I will be bringing 1ft clones out on 4/20/11. Will the clones be big enough or too big??
Your plants will only get as big as your roots will allow them to grow... With your clay soil, the roots will have a hard time to penetrate if at all through it... So, you have 2 choices, dig deeper, or a wider circle/square so your roots can at least grow sideways through the soil...
Grab some 2x8's or bigger and make a form around where you dug and added your soil, fill with more soil, then plant...

A good 2 ft is good to take outdoors... DON'T FORGET TO HARDEN IT OFF... I live in Oregon and we usually start to plant in Late May thru Mid July depending on preference and weather... No frost, No hail... when the plants are taken out in Mid July they are already showing their sex naturally through a 18/6 light cycle and are 3 feet tall at least by then, then moved outdoors to go directly into bud...

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

whats your plan for starting them inside?

^and yea, be sure by 4/20 that you won't have any frosts or bad wintery weather. and defffffinetly harden them. give em some sunlight and natural air and conditions for a little on nice days, and increase the time outside before you plant, to make sure it doesn't get pwnd by mother nature haha.

Are there any tips on how to achieve my goal??? I would appreciate any advise that the guerrilla growers on here could provide me with! I will plus repp any one with good tips and advise!!!!
When you are making a trail to your grow spot make sure to leave the long bend or tree branches stapling over it to conceal the trail. Even if you think no one will see it, cover up your tracks everytime you use the trail. And switch up the trail maybe have a few trails to your spot.

I dont need pigs or thieves trying to follow them to my babies!!! What is the best way to plant them without it looking like someone put them there???
