ok so i have a barneys farm laughing budha and a cali connection budha tahoe growing right now,

the plants are a few months old and everything seems to be going good!

for the soil i just mixed a bag of potting mix a bag of mushroom compost and some cow manure along with some existing soil and filled a 2 ft wide and 1 ft deep hole. I forgot to add lime so top dressed with some.

i have been feeding the plants some cheap multipurpose plant food i found at home and they seem to like it, also every few waterings i use a locally made product called worm juice. its just the juice they squeeze out of worm castings but after each time they look more healthy.

have had a problem with white fly but spray with a garlic concoction every few weeks and it keeps them at bay.

anyway here are some photos .

Wish I could be doing outdoors now too! Looking lovely, they look really healthy and perky to me. I am also curious to see them flowering. Heard very good things about both strains! Good luck! :peace:

Nice! I've always liked the outdoors. I'm growing my first plant out here in the tropics and she was doing great till the monsoon and mites (thought they didn't like moisture and humidity?) came along. She's still alright, but not great.

Just out of curiousity (I know I can search online, but I like the good ol' days when we actually ask a human and have conversations), what's the legal status of growing in Victoria? You don't have to answer if you don't feel like it. I'll do it new-school and DuckDuckGo it. :P

Hey mate , sorry to hear about your plant ! No good, I'm sure they grow awesome in the tropics , they grow in nearly every climate !
as for the legal status of growing its illegal , not sure about the exact laws but I'm sure the authorities have better things to do than bust me for 2 small plants ,

Cheers

Too true I have police helicopters flying over all the time (In Vic), I'm sure it's more trouble to do paperwork for a cpl of plants than its really worth, it truly is a victimless crime, that is if you are growing for personal use which would be the majority, the law is a real shame, I mean it a fricken plant!

Happy gardening
