Oh yeah. I totally understand, but would have loved to have met him. They are stone cold outlaws. Mine was a rescue I brought home from a hike up on the mountain. A hunter had dumped him by a deer carcas because he was too old to hunt. True story...he was an old dog, but still huge attitude. Did what he wanted, whenever he wanted, wherever he wanted.
I'm not a hunter and don't have "kennels", so he ate two french doors, two patio doors, 3 chairs, and a couch before it was all over. If he was in he wanted out...if he was out he wanted in...generally when I wasn't home. He was mayhem on 4 paws for 18 months! I was clueless!
Even with that, he was so smart, so cool, so fucking FUNNY!!! He used to grin at me. When he finally popped off, I actually missed him. My friends almost had me committed for not putting him down, but I couldn't rescue an animal and then have him killed for my own convenience.

Had about 6" a couple days ago, woke up to 6". Forecast is for nothing but more for the next couple days. Coming from up your way! It's supposed to be completely snotty for a couple days at least. SO SEND THOSE RECIPES, FOLKS!
Had to go to SEA after all, so stopped in town and loaded up on "snow goodies". If we get advance notice, we use being snowed in as license to kick back and spoil ourselves. You do the same! cheers, mg

The HUGE difference is...you can jump in the car and go get whatever you want, good or bad. On a clear sunny day I live over an hour trip to a real grocery store, so if I loaded up on goodies and put them in the pantry, they'd be on my hips in short order! Learned the hard way not to keep that stuff readily available... it's either that, quit smoking, or start shopping at Big & Short.

Common up, there may be snow that time of year, mid-late April, but it's hit or miss then. There's areas of Miami Mountain trails that are lower elevation, but yes plenty of trails to ride here.

Nice! Yea me and tws were talkin. Man it be a blast to chill up there! I never been to yosemite yet. Dad and his friends hiked up there years and years ago and a huge fire started and they were all tripping out thinking they had started it. Cant imagine those days eating those magical things looking back and seeing a huge fire!

These a great MX track right there in Marysville near Camp Far West. It's called "E street", because you take the E st exit off the freeway & the track is under the the freeway. They used to have lights & had open track till midnight!

Me and tws are lookin for more loaded scenic rides haha. Like off highway 88 there is forrest hill in auburn and there is another place. Thumper talk forum has a list of places and google mapped all of them in their california section. Who knows what ideas we will come up with in three months haha! How much is the pig?
