Hey everyone!

This year I've got a greenhouse to work with and hopefully will be showing everyone how it's done!

My greenhouse is 15 x 20, 6 ft side walls.

6, 600 watt MH supplemental lighting, used May-July.

Im putting in 2, 3 ft high, 6 x 18 ft Screens for SCROGing. 3 plants per screen. (6 plants total)

3 Jack Herer
1 Timewarp
1 Black Ghani
1 Cheese Quake

150 gallon dug in beds.

Organic Soil mix.

Photos and updates in the spring.

Can some of you guys who seem to really know your outdoor/greenhouse growing techniques help me figure out exactly how you plants dont flower when you start them so early indoors? like when do you plant the seeds? At what light cycle? How many days till you sex? What light cycle do you use to revert them back to veg? When do you take outside or in greenhouse under natural light? Ive got some seeds I want to start but Im afraid that by the time they fill a 5 gallon bucket in like a month, Itll be maybe mid march and I feel like the daylight hours would be too short and they will start flowering. I read that you shouldnt let your plants get rootbound when you put them outside or they WILL flower. I do plan on using a greenhouse so frost is not an issue for me. Thanks

one i use fem seeds only you dont have to worry about males.i start my mothers in jan, under 24 hours of light then i take clones in march, keep them uuder 24 hours of light put clones out in may, then i put my mothers outside in april and by end of may or first week of june the mothers are fully bud-it.the clones i put out in may some start to show sex but in june veg back out till fall.the mothers i put out in april that i bud i leave some buds on it and by the end of june they re veg and i harvest agan in fall.they will bud you put them out in march bud end of may cut bud off and leave some bud on and re-veg them and harvest again in fall

well obviously they bud if you use 24 hour light before you throw them outdoors, its a major shock. If you keep them at 14 hours or an interrupted 12, wont they adjust to April light cycles easier and not flower?

All the time. Every time I hit the swamp I come across mother nature. Either snakes, hogs ,deer, turtles you name it. Thats what I love !

So I was looking back at some of the old threads I use to participate in back a few years ago before I got raided back in Iowa, and the one was the "2009 Monster Outdoor Grow Competition" which I loved but was unable to participate in for obvious leagal issues in the state of Iowa. LOL Anyway I am now legal and able to grow outdoors this year, I propose we get together and group our grows together and see who can grow some of the biggest and baddest buds on Rollitup. :-) Any thoughts or suggestions? We can go as far as making seperate categories for Indicas/Sativas, Location, In the ground/potted, etc, or we can just make it simple and just pool it all together. Afterall this is a friendly competition.

I personally have 6 different strains to choose from, 4 of which are completly new to me but I am thinking the Jack Widow is going to be my choice for the competition. I intend to take one of the clones which I have now and keeping in in a pot and vegging it inside until it warms up here to go outside in the spring. I should have no problem having a 5+ foot tall bush to put outside come April/May. Extremely excited as this will be my very first outdoor grow!

Let the fun begin!
Soooo, why did you get raided ?.. not so sure I want to participate anymore..
