2016 DP think big, night queen, Colorado cookies, auto ultimate and west coast OG DWC

Hello there and welcome to my first journal.
Today i got the notification that my seeds arrived at the hub station for my city today so i should be getting them in the mail and germing them tomorrow. I ordered a variety of seeds but i wish to save the more mold resistant strains for this outdoor season. So tomorrow i will be starting 2 of 5 plants in 5gal dwc with advanced nutrients pack. Also got some cal-mag.

The five that will be grown are
2016 dutch passion think big
2016 dutch passion night queen
2016 dutch passion Colorado cookies
Dutch passion auto ultimate
Fast buds west coast OG

First two to be germed are
Think big and night queen then placed under 5000k cfl
Then upgrading to 600w hps

ALL SEEDS were received today
Upon washing my hydroton on the last rinse it spilled everywhere... I was outside too. And thus one hour was spent cleaning all the bits of grass and shit off.

I had some issues with my tds meter i need help with.
I bought some reference solution by GH and its reading it as 126
But it says its supposed to say 1500
Does tht mean it should say 150?

Both night queen and think big are in the midst of germination inside the rockwool i presume.
When i went to bed the p.h was 6.0 when i got back from work it was 8.5! What causes this? Im using airstones and tap water. Is it just the oxygen in the water affecting the accuracy of my meter or am i going to have to p.h buff my water multiple times a day? Thanks in advance for any help.

Think big and night queen have germinated i busted them out of their rockwhool cubes and put them in fresh ones because i was'nt sure if they germinated or not but the think bigs shells were taken off from the leaves and placed so that beginning of sprouting folded leaves were showing but covered underneath. Night queen is a day worth of germination behind think big id say. West coast og has not germed yet but was placed in a cube anyway and all three cubes are ph'd to 5.5 and placed in a humidity dome under 3, 60watt, 5,000k cfl lights under a bracket i made at work.
The ultimate and Colorado cookies are still in their paper towels in a bag in my bottom drawer to germinate

Ladies and gents i regret to inform you that the night queen has... *Sniff passed away
I believe i either put her in the rockwhool wrong or incorrect ph killed her. I pulled her from a cube and her tap root was moosh.

On the bright side think big has two sets of leaves west coast og is on her first set and the ultimate and Colorado cookies are right behind.
Im germinating a thc bomb auto (also doing a photoperiod version outdoors as well) to replace the deceased queen of the night.

Well i made a huge newbie mistake and thought that the rockwool would sustain them until the root came out the bottom then placed in dwc pots. Well i went to check on em after work and three out of four were slumped over and dried out the only plant that this didn't happen to was Colorado cookies. LI have another think big im going to germ and if none of the three come back im just gonna start a new thread.

Good luck man, I'm growing 7 ultimates, 4 mazars, and 4 fantasamo expressos in a green house outdoors.

We gotta compare the ultimates when they're done and see if there is a big difference between growing them indoor and outdoors.

Day 1 for my ladies was 02/16 so right now its about week 2-3.

Unfortunately the ultimate died... But im gonna order more seeds by the end of the month. Ill probably pick up the strains i failed on this run. Your growing outdoors?

Aww, sorry to hear that.. I've heard great things about ultimates.

Keep the Humidity up to about 70% in the dome during that stage and be diligent checking the wet level day and night. I dont use Rock wool for that reason. I usually start in a solo cup or final pot as it always you to not have to water as often and you can let the roots search for the water that is there in the soil. Goodluck on the next grow man, this makes me tear up. West coast og is a beast of a plant, Two weeks in and she had multiple roots growing through my 5 gallon fabric pot, I have a Black Berry Kush from fast buds thats a bigger plant but the root system on the West coast is insanely fast. With autos its better to just plant in final pot the second you see a quarter to half inch tap.
