All my counts are from the day I flip them to 12/12.
I don't see any purpose for counting other than for testing (e.g. different lights, conditions etc.), tracking multiple strains/phenos and planning perpetual runs so I just count from the day I flip them for future reference.

I do the same as you to confusing otherwise, weird some don't count the first week. Can't believe how much the COB's suck up the magnesium, they want more every feeding.

See that is the thing, most people either don't know any better because they haven't grown well or just haven't seen what this plant is capable of.
You can do much better but it takes time, patience and a willingness to learn. That is the problem with the younger generations, they have the attention span of gnats.

Are you so embarrassed by your growing skills that you use photos of your grows and claim they are grown by others to insult them?
That is a new low. But at least the truth is getting flushed out finally.
