Cannaventure PRK x Mosca C99 x Cannarado Barney Rubble(3 pics below) also to meet the axe shortly, if the leaves look dusty then they are...dust storms blown in from the central Australian deserts during summer gives everything a coating, no real rain to wash it off
The Cannaventure PRK offered mixed results for many, yet the PRK carries through well after being outcrossed with its thick syrupy terpine & colors still present

boys being separated & readied to be taken to isolation area away from the females, originally 3 different males were to be used in this seasons pollen chuck -

though since the SinCity Platinum Delights & Dynasty Platinum Huckleberry Cookies males are looking good too a place will be found for those to spread their genes as well

it bombed out with an all male show unfortunately, already had the male side of things planned & the Night Terror OG wasn't included...dems da breaks,
they were a robust & fast growing plant, would have been good to cross if a girl had appeared.
*update...1 female has been found, probably hit her with Face Off pollen

3 x Bodhi SSDD females 3'-4' high, will be placed near suitable males in about 1 week, just culled 3 x SinCity Platinum Delight girls who hermed badly, have a nice looking male of the same strain though doubting now whether to use it for breeding since his sisters hermied for no real reason, why bother with types that herm when there's plenty of fire out there that doesn't?

very nice!you should fell lucky living were its dry when budding.i fight mold every yr outdoor.

thanks & yes its almost the ideal environment here for the thick heavy budders with very low average moisture level in the air, i used to live in an area like yours where mold was prob...real pain to go to all that effort to grow them out to the end only to have a large % wrecked by mold & fungi, what strains have you found to be good with strong mold resistance there?

IHG Cactido x Cannarado Barney Rubble - nice overall pollen chuck this one, 10gal fabric pots suit the 4'-5' grow height here

have some other girls of this strain ready to be pollinated with Face Off OG, Space Monkey & SSDD pollen mmmmm

Coco is very satisfying when you figure out how to work with it. I'm no pro, but like you I've gotten pretty comfortable working with it and love the results.

I'm planning on setting up automated feeding for my outdoor coco plants this summer. I think it'll make a huge difference to add that consistency factor. Rather than water by hand once a day, I'm thinking I'll set a timer to water 5-6 times a day at set intervals. Should be better for the plants and reduce my workload, that's what I call win-win. :bigjoint:

sounds like an idea, ive thought about the automatic feeding too, like Blumats etc, though a bit concerned there wont be enough runoff to flush out excess salts? and some dry out faster than others so i cant think of a way to remedy that? prefer not to water plants until they are getting pretty dry!

Yeah, I can understand that concern. I haven't worked with Blumats, so I don't know if you can achieve the runoff you'd want. I think with my plan of just using a pump with drip emitters, I can dial in my watering times to get decent runoff and keep the coco at my desired moisture level, it'll take a bit of fiddling, but shouldn't be too bad.

From everything I've read about coco, the consensus seems to be not to let it dry too much or it can cause problems. And I will say I've had good luck only letting it dry out to the point where it's somewhat moist.

all females to be pollinated are out in selected areas with their individual studs...meanwhile back at the ranch
UK Cheese x Blueberry x Mikado x Barney Rubble fattening up nicely, daylight hours are below 12/12 now though buds are forming well with still high temps 30c/86f+

these plants though outdoors have not seen a drop of rain out here in the Badlands, often they can grow their entire life cycle without getting wet...great for those dense types, though the super dense can still get budrot no matter what
