How did this do, I'm in mb as well
I'm in SE Ontario, St. Lawrence River and ordered some early strains from Lucky 13 in Vernon. They have some great names of their own genetics from IBL of Deep Chunk which they call Deep 6ix as it is f6, to early Snow Angel and Okanagan Grape. Great site, pics and descriptions. Regular seed only, 13 seeds for $67 but $cash$ is king! We did Early Banner last summer from QCS, early and potent BUT $65 for 5 fem.seeds. I've ordered almost 1k worth from Lucky 13 as I supply friends for their outdoor crops. I like to harvest mid sept if humid and 1st week of Oct. if no PM or bud rot.

Wow, you've got it tough outdoors up there, I'm in SE Mass,USA and I wish I had 2 more good weeks of weather here, seems like some rain and shitty conditions always start around 3rd or 4th week of Sept. forcing me to move all my shit under a 10x10 canopy tent or have to stretch out and wiretie tarps to cover everything else and your season is prob. 2-3 weeks shorter than mine

Manitoba is even shorter! In Ontario, Oct. can be iffy past the first week so I start them indoor around mid April and hope for early spring to plant outside last week of May or early June. Hopefully start budding up in July to finish 8 weeks later. I'm at 44.6 degrees north and 75 degrees west, Brockville, Ontario.:bigjoint:

I typically run 15-20 photo strains as well as some Autos for some early harvest, I've got 2 really early photo strains that I haven't ever run, Apple Blossom from Humbolt Seed Co. (not HSO), and Oregon Noble(pine tar kushx gobstopper) that both flower in 45-55 days. Everything else has to be in the 55-65 range or I won't even try it, if the strain info from breeder lists 9+ wks. then I'm out, not worth the bother because just about everything I pull it's because Mother Nature forced me to, in other words ideally I'm wishing I could run them another 7-10 days in a perfect world, which is why I stop all feeding other than h20 by Sept. 10-14 so everything is properly flushed, I don't know anybody that likes smoking phosphorous.

Do you have indoor also to keep busy all winter? Is Mass legal to grow?
Mass is a legal state, there is a dispensary 1/2 mile from my home, no indoor grows for me (old home and electric, I can hear the fire engines now), and indoor requires too much overhead and $investment. If I spend 1500 on seeds and supplies I only need 10-12 oz to get my $ back, and my season usually yields bet. 7-10 lbs., depending on what mother nature dictates.

Yeah, I tend to favor the Indicas, shorter stout resiny couchlock strains, I eat my weed in muffins and if the strain has too much sativa I get a little agitated as I eat looking for that sedated stony feeling and the sativa is described as clear headed, energetic and I'm prone to anxiety so sativa doesn't help with that.

Weed is funny sometimes if you have anxiety it gets rid of it,other times you smoke it and it causes anxiety

yeah, yield wise in a good year, outdoor always surpasses indoor, but due to ripoffs I couldn't depend on outdoor so I went indoor 30 years ago and slowly added as technology changes. I'm 80% LED, one 400x HPS and a 1000w HPS I try not to use. My first seed order was 1989 from Cannabis Seedbank of Amsterdam and grew those 3 strains among others for years until I decided to checkout other people's genetics. Since then it's become a bit of an addiction buying seed but its always been my poison of choice over alcohol.

And to tell you the truth I'm so beat down after my grow due to the work involved w/the grow itself combined w/my physical job, my large yard, and my exercise routine that after I hang up the last plant I need to recoup and rest, I'll be 57 this season and have been at this shit since I was a 19 yo kid

so true, when it was illegal, paranoia was half the stone! Now at 62, I don't need my heart thumping like a flopping fish!

Thieves SUCK DICK, I hear ya on that, crazy I've always considered my Canadian neighbors as some of the nicest and friendliest people around, it's pretty sad that even rips occur up there. I used to use the best commercial seeds that was around during the year, I'd see seeds for sale in High Times but thought I'd be greeted by Feds until 2009, that's when I dropped my first letter in the mail to Vancouver Seed Bank, since then I've bought from Attitude,Seeds Here Now, Oregon Green Seed,Greenpoint,Seed Cellar,N Atlantic Seed Co,DC Seed Exchange, The Seed Source, GTA, BC Bud Depot among others and my seed library is ridiculous. Ev. season I HAVE to try something else despite the fact that I've only used 1/2 of the seeds in the packs

No, thank God, one rip when I was a young kid who could'nt keep his mouth shut, since then secret squirrel, no need to show off or brag, although the sight of my grow 1wk before harvest would make jaws drop, it's gotten a lot easier w/age, as it seems your circle shrinks considerably from when your a young testoserone laden buck.

It would be nice to have some land to go wild with a crop, I've always had to hide them somewhat as I live in the city, pop.20k but backyard is fenced in with grape vines as natural camo on fences. Since weed became legal, I can grow 4 outside so I made a cage fight enclosure, no roof but I hook up a sprinkler on motion detector and top wire is electrified barb wire and security camera on house. Of course, after all that I haven't been ripped in 10 years but they will have to work for it!

Hold my beer

What else is there? Lol. But ya last year was exceptional, but can't count on anything past September 1St.

Usually ok till September 15th but nights hover around freezing.

I'm looking for teacup seeds, or I'm looking at sea weed, time warp or sea warp. I've got Dave Scott on FB, but he's extremely busy....

I was seeing if it was even possible to finish some strains I had with materials I had. Gg4 and wedding cake finished. Going to try and build a properly done greenhouse this summer. There are autos that won't finish here if we have a late spring and a early winter. Last summer we had from June 1st till October 10th. That almost never happens.

I'm on the hunt for the earliest of the photos that act like photos.
