Progressives can't be ignored anymore at this point. We just took out one of the Democratic party leaders doing exactly what we said we were going to do and without accepting corrupt donations to do it. They said it couldn't be done, Ocasio-Cortez proved them wrong. The best they will have is claiming it's just one win, it doesn't mean much... until more JD and OR candidates win their primaries and defeat Republicans. Or they can only win in progressive districts (discounting Carter's win in deep red Virginia)

Ok, let's see if I get this.

When the primary result suits you, its kool and the gang, but when it goes against you, you cry for 2 years that it's rigged and illegitimate?

It's going to be a long uphill struggle but when people see that government can fight FOR them as opposed to against them, I'm betting momentum will accelerate.

After all, how much worse can it get?

Because there is evidence Clinton rigged the 2016 Democratic primary

It's not whether the outcome of the election suits me or not, it's whether the integrity of the election was upheld and unbiased. Even you have admitted it wasn't

I think it would be much more productive in the way of getting progressives out to vote for the DNC to admit it, apologize for it, make legal changes that ensure it won't happen again, denounce corporate and PAC legal bribes, and support progressive candidates who push a populist message.

I've actually attained the qualification of Masters, so try at least to have some respect for the amount of work involved in achieving it.

If you put in a similar amount of work you could probably achieve something too.

If it weren't for people like me, you wouldn't have that device you're using to publicly cry to the world constantly.

do y'all think progressives[once in office}will face pressure from established dems to full in line? How would some of you feel if some did compromise by backing certain candidates with views that aren't 100% in tune with progressive views.

These are good questions.

Deal making is part of politics. At least our interests will have a seat at the table, instead of being ignored in favor of the monied interests.
