Liking all the nuggets of information! I’m in the process of modifying my shed to dry the bulk of it; I have a 8,000 btu with Digital thermostat if needed for my one plant that will finish in Sept, and a large humidifier to add for the later harvest.

Do I really need a carbon filter though? Is that more of a security thing so as not to attract unwanted attention?

nah you don't need a carbon filter, it's just to eliminate the smell .. I have one on there because it's technically a grow tent ... I flower in there through the winter but use it to dry my outdoor

One of the two Waziri, thinking they have a month or so left. This one smells like lime, pine and something your grandmother would put on a scrape. Do have PM popping up here and there but I’m going over the plants with a fine-toothed comb every morning and evening and keeping it under control.

Still finding seeds popping up here and there. I have 0 clue how bad the extent of the pollination is. Generally ive only found more than 1 seed per node twice and the others are ranging from one seed a plant to a few dozen on some others. I've been plucking them out with tweezers when I see them and I check a few times a day along with scouting for cats and PM. It is getting harder to find them due to the flowers getting bigger and the other calyxs swelling.
Theres certainly no males in the garden, and I still havent been able to find and herms when I check for the seeds so at this point im convinced someone in the neighborhood has males out. First pollination would have to have been back in July, since the first time I found seeds were mature on a plant not in flower yet. Whats weird is that plant hasn't shown any seeds since it started flowering (flowered 2nd to last out of 10 plants), and the other 2 that flowered late havent had seeds pop up either. Truly heartbreaking, Im trying not to stress over it too much because I dont think there was anything I could do to prepare/prevent this from happening. Worst comes to worst I blast most of the harvest and finally learn how to make extracts and then have some seeds to fuck around with in the future so all is not lost I guess.

One of the girls (24k gold) is yellowing real bad. Probably due to the stalk damage from termites. Other than that and the seed BS everything is coming on great. Some PM on a few plants so far but im confident I can knock it back with greencure + labs foliar spray.

For what it’s worth, that yellowing looks 100% like Nitrogen deficiency, to me at least. If your more than a month out from harvest I’d feed her.

Out here in WMASS. Had some autos I had to bring in a few weeks ago due to starting of some mold. These two girls are still going strong though and the added fans has been a huge help. The roof inside has a tiny bit of moisture in the mornings but the sides and plants are always dry. Been spraying some Dr Zymes for mold and bugs every 2-3 days. I've chopped about 3-4 feet off of these to make them fit in here for flower. After harvest I am digging it down 4 feet for next year.

House is 6x10x7. I have it up a little so its closer to 8' tall at this point.

Only one Mantis hung around from two eggs, had lady bugs in the beginning of the year as well that have disappeared after a few weeks.

Did a defoliation yesterday to expose the buds more, have a little more to do in some sections but IMO mostly there.

This plant was cloned from an exceptional mother plant and i have used silver spray to get it to grow balls. There are only 20 or so on the plant which also has pretty well developed buds. Has anyone had success with this seed production method? I am planning on pollinating this individual plant as well as its sisters. I don't see any pollen emanating from the sacs and think this might be some kind of mutated non functioning pollen sac.

The pollen sacs in the pic don’t look like they are mature yet to me.

Yessir! The soil mix I went with this year is definitely a little too weak for how long they were out there for. Top dressed the other day and gonna give nute tea + SST in the next day or two.

Hornworm on my developing outdoor buds.
I've only had this problem on tomatoes and tobacco plants in the past.

Is this just a fluke? Or something to be concerned about?

Any guidance appreciated.
It may not follow the same behaviors as budworms which burrow into the buds and eat from the inside out, but any cat period is no friend of a garden. Relocate him or squash him whatever you wanna do and clean up the droppings before they start molding.

I use Monterey -

Getting some delivered tomorrow. Thanks for that. My shit is looking OK for now. The dying leaves seem to be under control. Got another week for the MOB, and it’s supposed to be dry for a while.
