2021 Massachusetts Outdoor Growers

Bug? Looks like the worlds tiniest frog if you ask me! Does it sing & dance to “Ragtime” by chance? Lol :D

Guys, i just chopped one plant. Multiple botrytis infections.

What the heck can I do to save the rest of my crop????

I have an abundance of seed packs… mostly Mephisto autos and some Wicked Pissah autos that I bought during 2020 (stimulus money supporting small businesses). I likely won’t get around to growing most of them so send a message if you want some for your indoor grow or next years outdoor season. I want nothing in return and will pay shipping. Hope this is allowed

still looking to rehome some seeds. Mostly Mephisto auto freebie crosses

If you look right in front of the lil frog, you'll see a little triangular what I call stink bug, but it's not a stink bug, it's some other thing.
Good focus on the frog, not so much on the bug unfortunately... hard to offer an opinion. Not that you asked for one! Lol 8-)

Culled that one big plant. Too many sites on it were infected.

Have opened up the plastic canopy on the sides and ends for more airflow.

Going outside now with a cup of coffee and some hydrogen peroxide. Going to spray and remove sites.

Damn! I feel ya. Real sorry, one of the reasons why I’ve stayed inside so long... fear of natural causes. After I started hearing more of those like experiences in other groups the last couple days... I pulled an old but serviceable 16” oscillating fan and mounted it to my deck table for height. Don’t know how much it will help, but figured it can’t hurt either (my wife was amused) I have electric on the deck, so it wasn’t difficult... started this morning and will continue to run it early morning and after rain events. I only got (4) girls and I got my fingers crossed but I’m certainly sweating it too. :|

This is my 1st year growing outdoors and I feel like 3 of my 5 plants have been slow developing buds. An October 31st harvest day would give these girls about 7.5 more weeks to develop. Is it reasonable to keep plants outside that late here in southern Middlesex county (Zone 6)?

Was it botrytis (gray mold) or bud rot? For staving off botrytis... the only thing I've found that really worked for me was Serenade, but I understand that's not so easy to obtain these days. Maybe Dr Zymes or the old hippie favorite, baking soda in water?

I presume I'm going to regret it, but I decided to only spray Dr Zymes in flower this year. Yikes?

It should be, yes. Plants are surprisingly hardy, if it warms up during the day they can take cold night time temps (even a frost or two).
