I've only had one caterpillar, once, and I've been growing outdoors here since the mid nineties. Like you're saying, maybe they don't like it dry.

I'm amazed every year at how fast some strains mature! A friend gave me a Double OG Chem from Rebel Grown and that plant is exploding! Not hard to see why Rebel Grown got Breeder of the Year at The Emerald cup, again, this year!

I am hoping for a chill to kill the bugs. West Nile is about and in my medical condition I need to avoid it.
Buds are going like gangbusters we have a week of highs in 80's and very little rain.
The AK47 has such a nice smell to it, the Vietnam Black started late in May but is now taller than me. Budding slowly but a fragrance different than the other 11.
Ya west Nile an triple e seem to be everywhere this yr.

These were a roll of the dice for me after the JBC screw up an the resend from the breeder i wasnt really expecting much. Then only getting 8 females out of 30 beans Dam! But i got the fastest pheno seeded up good an got some cuts to play with this winter not all is lost.

Glad the PTK is working out for you. I'm excited to see what I get from that this year. The one plant I had last year was some of the best flower I've had.

How's the quadruped doing? He looks like he's getting on in years. I have an older mutt here, 12 years old, hurt his ACL back in June, opted not to do surgery and instead just moderating the activity a bit and started him on CBD from the hemp I grow. He's bounced back amazingly well and can get downright puppy-ish at times. Highly recommend CBD for older dogs with arthritis and other discomfort.

This week sounds like more great bud-ripening weather. It's been quite a stretch, hasn't it? Coldest night yet here in Knox County last night, dropped into the forties.

Check out this Cherry Wine hemp flower from this morning--getting close to ready and not even mid-September. Seem to be a few phenotypes among them that are eager beavers, normally I harvest these in October:

Some more of my Cindy Pineapple…I’m a proud father so excuse all the bud porn/pictures. About 2-3 weeks out from harvest. You can’t see it yet in the pictures but the purple hues are starting to be expressed….what a beautiful plant!! The buds got so heavy (she’s a chunker) I had to stabilize the main stalk and tie the buds to it….trellis next time.IMG_7035.jpegIMG_7013.jpegIMG_7011.jpegIMG_7010.jpegIMG_7009.jpegIMG_7012.jpeg

Moving along, got a cheap/lazy cover up a few weeks ago. Not the best, water pools and I have to remove manually but I knew that would happen when I made it. Always next year haha. Purple punch and marmalade are the furthest along in the garden. Hoping the smoke is good on the marmalade, I’d run a few again next year if it isIMG_3189.jpegpurple punch IMG_3188.jpegmarmalade IMG_3192.jpegIMG_3185.jpegEarlyBirdIMG_3193.jpeg
