no they won't, really. You'll get 5 times the growth with 6500 K
Just because a light is rated at 4200k does not mean thats the only wavelength of light is emits. Its rated at 4200k because thats where it emits the most light a human eye sees. Many T-5 bulbs aimed at growing are rated 4200-4500k and work just fine.
I'm using vinegar to drop it down and. food will bring it back up? or down cause right now its too high. so if food will bring it down i should just feed then right???i know its a pain in the ass. explaining the shit but i have to get it right... and i appreciate the lesson!

people overhtink the whole light and colour stuff anyway. if you knew how fast them nice colour dies youd rethink it. ive run so many diff brand bulbs and colour and not yet have seen a big noticable diff...a noticable one i said...yes some but most dont varry much and most only match what the co puts out for stats if you sue what they used for ballast and so on. they dont run same in all balast

its ok dood..ask away...after you add food to water. set the ph to 6.2...then go burn one. come back and check it. if its still relativly close...within a .2 then use it. if not readjust, if it need to go down again then a touch of a bloom food. and if it still needs to go up then more soda. dont use the vinigar if there is soda in it already. use food to raise if so. if no soda then is fine to use vinigar
when we use up and down together we get nutes that bind. we may see a blue cloud as we add ph solution to the rez..this is nutrients binding and falling out. plant wont be able to eat those that dropped. mix ph solution in a bit of water first. then add to rez.....no blue cloud

Well from the pics you got the lights way far away. Those should be 3-4 inches from tops of plants, believe me, the closer the better, Mine is 18 days old and already needs to be transplanted. Its under 4 23 watt 2700k cfls, and I have 10 40 watt 6500k cfls for flowering.

3/4 with a 600...ouch man. to close even in a sealed hood. i think they`d almost catch on fire that close in his bat wing. donbt need to be so close without a hood or glass between it

Sorry buddy 6500 are for veg and 2700for flower. also my lights are 3 inches from my plants...

your using cfl dood. you just said that. whole diff wolrld. hid run way way hotter. and way way more output than a little cfl. cant compare the 2 at all

VERY weird, mylar will melt use some aluminum flashing, that's pre-painted white.

or spend 25 bux and just buy one.
If i had a hydro shop or indoor grow shop i would but it works as a cheap reflector... and its not really mylar its the hit you us to put in your wind to keep the car cool when you park in the sun. and i don't think it'll melt cause the cfls aren't that hot, and they are made to withstand a lot of heat.

ya was just a suggestion is all...ya its mylar coated. you where right it will be fine. not the best but better than nothing. i made one once from duct work from home depot. they have pre bent tin in exact shape we want for it. they cost about 4 bucks each piece and use 2. then a strip of 1x4 between the,m to screw them to and mount a mogul and hooks to hang with. cost me 11 dollars to make it and look exact to a store bought one. a bit beter actualy cause it was wider so more downard reflecting
