I wait till my trics are like all cloudy and bout 25 % amber and i flush for the last week then i wait till the soil is super dry to harvest it takes less drying time and i haven't really seen a difference besides i get to smoke faster\
more lights? you do realize that with just one plant growing 260+ watts is more than enough? with anything.. cfl or hps/mh
im building my second grow box with a 250w switchable hps/mh ballast and supplementing with my current grow boxes cfls
i think im good on lights.

Im a light flusher and i use make it rain trough out my grows nothing but light colored ash smokes real real nice
was this to me? sounds like solid advice.. and your pics on the next page are great. yours is much more refined than my current cardboard mylar box lol but its essentially the same thing and mine works well.
I am building another box made of OSB. 2w x 2L x 3.5H.. im using my 250w mh/hps as the main light that hangs from the top. cfls to supplement.
Im looking to grow 4-5 autos in 2 gallon skinny pots. planned harvest is 4 oz every 2.5 - 3 months.
This run was just a curiosty test run with bagseed. had no idea it would evolve into this. did a little research and i became infatuated with this art/lifestyle of growing (im a biology/engineering major and this mixes both) that evolved into a full blown hobby thing.
check the first page. my 2nd post. ive made small tweeks to it since but the basics / structure is there.
really the only thing different is ive added another 68 watter.
me and my roommate as we put the grow room together. (my closet)
you can actually see the changes as we adjust and modify. (check the ipad with amber rose as my wall paper lol)
what you see here now is a 250w MH gold bulb. hydrofarm internally mounted ballast. blah blah. got it from a friend for 110.
so i took amber rose out of the small cfl box and put her under the 250mh/hps and added one 27w daylight cfl for a compliment. To control temps i added another pc fan hanging from a shoe string and tube cleaners angled to blow directly on the 250w bulb.
in the old cfl coldboard box i turned off some of the 23watters and left two 68watters on. I put some seedlings in there. more bagseed. holding out on the good seeds for a while. until i have this down. more experimenting basically. i have them in three different sized pots. more than likely all three different strains. gonna see what happens.

tomorrow im going to get a small 8 dollar fan from HD and just sit it on the box and blow upwards for additional cooling.

Lol true. It is. Very simple set up. I'm not worried about smell so no need for anything elaborate. I am building a cab that will be more involved though.

Check out my upgrade 150w HPS for HTG supply its doing wonders already and its only been running for 24 hours you'll love a 250 bro! Just keep the box the size of the lights footprint and scrog your off ass in the box!!!!
