22 hours light 2 hours dark veg cycle ?

I am currently growing a few quailty strains from nirvana seeds under a T5 fluorescent bulb. After reading about the controversy between 24/0 and 18/6 i figured, id like to give my plants as much light in veg as i can, but still give them a dark cycle. Is going 22 light 2 hours dark reccommended for female strains? i just dont want to give them stress or make them more likely to go herm. Please let me know what u all think

18/6 works just fine as well as 24/0. I am using T5's and go 24/0 in the winter for the extra heat and I also go to 18/6 in the summer so my lights are off in the heat of the day. They both work just fine

it will work,,if you are going to give them a dark period, i would go with 4 hrs of dark.

i use 18/6 simply because you get more root growth when lights are off during veg then with them on for 24/0
