you were using shock though?
i was always top feeding mine when i used shock.
so that small zone b/t stem and water level got the rot? or is that not right?
I didn’t start shock at the start, at first I saw some staining and blew it off as nute stains, this is when I started light shock after my uc roots ran out, didn’t like it but I looked like stains and FNB is so muddy.
Once the roots got some size I noticed they looked over watered. The staining was right in the bottom of the basket, out of the water, I re used my hydron after washing it, just washing... I ran 4 ppm of shock top feeding for a couple days then added 3 more ppm. I could prob recover them but these have to be the worse looking plants I ever grew, I’m trashing them. I ordered new clay and southern AG, that has to come out of the USA.
Cut the tops off my favourite plant. It was a head scratcher, by the time I eliminated the possibility of feed or co2, the roots made it obvious I was overlooking the issue for a good 10 days.
They are still in there, In shock, swimming in shock. I will yank them later and run bleach for a few days and start cleaning up. Clones look good, 48hrs in and perky, for me that’s usually enough to bank on 100% success for rooting to happen.
