ppms in the 1500 range from my understanding only benefit from real hydro applications like dwc. anything over 1100 in soil is a waste of time imho. you need that contstant uptake of nutes that hydro provides to fully take advantage of that amount of co2. how could you possibly keep the ppms at that level without containing the co2 anyways? plus a cost analysis needs to be done on your experiment. again id like to reiterate good discussion here and value your opinion.

Curious how your plants will turn out. I have some outdoors around the same size as yours, but in 5 gals (recently transplated to 20 gallon) coco hempy buckets. 200+ gal imo is overkill and not cost effective but time will tell.

hmm.. tcurtiss how are you releasing c02 outdoors? won't that just disappear into the atmosphere?

lmfao! r u seriously comparing a 20 gallon container to one of these monsters? welcome to outdoor 101 where bigger is better. whats next? telling folks not to plug into the ground because its "overkill" !?

More like growing 101, more roots, bigger plant, bigger plant, more buds.... are we missing something here?
Yes we are missing something, when will flowering be initiated ? If plants starts flowering @ the summer equinox then yes it would be overkill. But if it vegs into august then yes go big, all depends on the veg time IMO.

all of these plants will have been in their containers for at least 4 months with some closer to 6. you cant have too big of a medium. i have a friend that goes 12' x 12' on his holes! and places plants 20' on center. remember your skill doesnt come into effect as a gardener until roots hit the edge of a container that is when growth slows.

damn that stem is fat! i need to save up for next year so i can get bigass air pots like this.

as for the CO2 thing, i think doing it outside would be a waste without a greenhouse. unless u filled an airtight box with CO2, then had an air pump pushing it out a bunch of tubing. and that tubing was tied to the branches so it pointed at the stomatas. then it might work a little better.

Damn man yours are looking awesome! I'd be stoked if my plants were that big AFTER harvest haha! The plants seem to be loving the soil recipe you recommended, thanks!

I went to a seminar a few years ago & we discussed C02 use outdoors. They said use a small line running up the center of the plant & stopping where the main stem ends. This works particually well outdoors in temps above 85degrees.
