You'd spend more money on electricity and light bulbs just trying to match an HPS' performance with CFL lighting.I have 4 9-day-old plants going right now under 2300 lumens from cfl's. Is this enough output? Also, would this be a sufficient amount of light to take it through budding? I am trying to keep costs down so would it be OK to flower without an hps?
Yeah they already stretched but I added another tube and lowered the lights and they seem to be doing much betterto answer your question, No that is not enough light to carry a plant through budding or through a decent veg stage without the plants stretching a ton
