Some say it's better to take clones during flower because of less nitrogen. I haven't taken enough to say the best time but I will say a clone is a hell of a lot better than starting over from seed, no matter how long you gotta wait for roots.
The plant I got right now is a revegg after being root locked and flowered for a while with other plants but found out the other 2 were male.
Also took clones from her after she revegged a while and got big.
